The biggest thing the chili bowl has going for it is that it's held in January when nobody else is racing. Hold that event anytime through the summer and you wouldn't get 40 cars and a few thousand people. Don't get me wrong it's a great event but comparing it to Knoxville is like comparing apples to hammers. It's not even close. And neither is eldora.
