I will take a high speed flat out snoozer any day over a 1/2 throttle show that micros and can go that fast at the slow palace.  If people wants to see a slip and slide show then why so then why do we need 900 hp 410 engines.  Just put 4 cylinders in them and they will do about the same speed.

Your opinion.  But, I didn't see a slip and slide show last night at all.  I saw a great race.

Hey ass-hat go watch the interviews from the drivers after the race on floracing.......they like the track the way it was on Friday WAY more than Thursday, except probably Eliason lol. Their was way more passing on Friday. I still think Larson will win Saturday by the way IMO only first night out in the new car after the wreck and comes home 3rd and 20 more laps as well. We shall see though. Wouldn't surprise me if get a non Macri, Dewease or Larson winner either. Time to get the bbq, beer and Whiskey ready!

Where's my beer or scotch on the rocks? God-damn it! 40
plus years of dirt track racing in these old veins might
get me condemned by the EPA.

Track was perfect last night, multi-groove, back and forth, side by side racing with passing all over the place. I was shocked and happy to see some grip and passing on the bottom last night. It's been a long time since I've seen that there. It's been such a top groove track the last couple years. Loved it!

Well now you are saying more motor for the 72 but it takes finesse.  That's talking out of 2 sides of your mouth.

No what I'm saying is that they are slow. They started up front on a heavy track Thursday and you could see Stewart was losing ground on every straight away. Last night's feature, I lost my feed so yes I'm not sure,  he did not advance at all and was running in the back.

It's not likely that I will ever attend a race at Port Royal living in Minnesota but I watched on Floracing and I won't miss many whenever it's on tv after last night.  I'm used to 410 Heats scrambling for position in the first turn and going single file for the rest of the race.  The Port had race long battles in multiple Heats and the Feature was entertaining from start to finish.

Having both Floracing and Dirtvision I have to admit that the product the All Stars are putting out there this season stacks up well.  I had the choice between All Stars at Port and a 22 car WoO show and opted for the All Stars.  Their shows are more often than not the most entertaining of all the options on any given night.

I can see why PA fans are so passionate about their racing.  Who wouldn't be if they had those tracks available to them to attend?

I've been thinking that all summer about the Allstars. With limited races countrywide, California shut down, all those true outlaws & Cali boys showing up for Allstar races has made them every bit as entertaining or better than WoO

That being said, I thought Esh's maneuver on Gee was worse.

Hummmm, that guy that was saving his car on Thursday most have seen something. Man that track was great, Dewease was able to run bottom to top. I felt for Rico, I wish they would have found out what happened. I liked the 69k team using belt Sanders on the rear tires.  They did say that the old tow rig is being repaired. So how many think they show up for the outlaws in a couple weeks ? I say they run the national open and only if things go well will they show up at port royal. Great run LD. If you didn't think that was a good race, your helpless.

Not sure what the official rules are, but if the yellow and checkered fly on the lap that the incident with Wise and another car on the backstretch, all the subsequent carnage would have been avoided. Looked to me like the leaders were close to passing the flag stand and would have had plenty of time to slow before getting to the site of the stopped cars on the backstretch.

Felt bad for the teams with the trashed cars. Could have run the non-qualifiers race for some prize money. Instead end up with destroyed cars and more expense.

Was thinking the same thing. IMO the checkered should have been thrown. The leaders were almost at the flag stand and the 2 sideways cars were on the backstretch. 6 cars destroyed after that.

Yeah that was 1 of the dirtiest, boneheaded moves I've ever seen. Chiapelli's should kick him to the curb after that. Too bad for Gee.

Well then I am helpless.  Slip and slide feature surface.  Just happend to be his lucky night.  Leader in his heat breaks which the 69k would not have won then would have started mid pack in the feature.  Lucky draw to start on the pole.  Leader breaks with 13 to go to give him the lead.  Did not dominate at all.  Lucky, lucky, lucky.

Lol!!! You just know WingedStrawser was just chomping at the bit to wake up this morning to critique Port and bash the 69k. Probably set his alarm to wake early, put on his strawberry shortcake jammies, sat down to tinkle then ran to the computer to make his enlightening comments about the 69k and luck. Lord knows luck plays no part in motorsports, lol. So stupid.

I never understood why the leader can be so close to taking the checker and a yellow comes out, than they have to do 2 more laps. HOw is that fair to the leader?

I think the esh/gee deal was just 2 guys that were not going to lift no matter what. It was for the last spot in the Tuscarora 50.  Hindsight can say it was a stupid move, but neither  guy gave a inch. Racing hard, you betcha. Smart ? They both would probably do the exact same thing. Neither give a inch.
