Hearing rumblings of a pretty strict curfew at Nashville on Twitter - anyone have any info? Hoping it's at least 11 p.m. if true.

May not have to worry about the event for next year. Saw an article from the Tennesseean where the promoter had not paid the board approx $32k in concession commission from 2018, violated curfew in March after a verbal warning in May of 2018, and failed to pay rent on time as they paid January-March on April 4th. The statement from the promoter was that there was more to it than that but would not comment further.

Plus I believe Bruton Smith is trying to get involved somehow as the fair is wanting Nascar back in 2021

I wish one of the drivers would have said the track really sucked tonight.  I hope they find the keys to the water truck for tomorrow night.

In the most entertaining story from Nashville WoO so far, Jeremy Elliott seems to be wanting to get his credential revoked on Twitter. Called out the WoO's full crowd Tweet by posting the remainder of the stands, which are sparcely filled.

Reading all this, I watched the highlights of the Feature. Kind of reminded me of chilibowl videos I've seen.

A total shit show in Nashville and a cow pasture at Mansfield. Meanwhile, I saw an excellent night of racing on a perfectly prepared track surface where there was a battle for the lead during the entire 25 laps that ended in a last lap pass and damn near photo finish at everyone's favorite whipping boy,  good old Williams Grove Speedway. Guess the porch isn't such a bad place after all?

What's wrong with Balog? The guy can drive! Wish he would go out on the WoO tour...

BTW, where is the Posse?

Would LOVE to hear what the drivers have to say about this scenario. Fun? Pissed off? Exciting? Perhaps the a full range of reactions. We'll likely never know.

I guarantee you that won't happen, at least not with the WoO regulars.    That looked pretty well awful to me...

Went to the Nashville show and I thought it was a success for many reasons. The track took on rubber early so it had the look and feel of an IMCA race from the 60's. The track while a quarter or so seemed bigger and was less dusty as Haubstadt or other smaller tracks. 95 percent of the crowd had never seen a sprint car race, just a guess. My impression was people loved it. Lots of action, exciting feature. It reminded me of the first time the WOO ran at Metrolina at Charlotte. There was probably one of the best fields of interesting drivers I had seen at a World of Outlaw show outside of the Nationals.  Schatz passed the leader with little time feft, looked like Tony Stewart was racy and the crowd loved it. People had a good time and was excited, what more can you ask for?
Was it Knoxville? No, but many places arent. If they would redo the track permanently and put a dirt track inside the asphalt track, it would be good size and take advantage of the large grandstand. They had a Nashville type honky tonk set up at one endof the grand stand that was three levels.
The addition of some of the USAC drivers was a great addition. WOO gained a bunch of new fans and fans in a growing market. With some positive planning Nashville could grow into a great venue for fans to visit.

Imagine when they go and see an average or decnt race. Sorry, but that was trash. There is plenty that can be fixed but this is a one and done unless the track gets wider.

It was a quarter mile. There was as much passing as many races I have attended. It wasn't dusty. There was a good crowd.
Many races I have been to in recent times you have to stop at a gas stop and take a bath in the bathroom. It was a straight sprint car show, I can't remember the last time I saw that. They ran it right off. I couldn't complain.

Curious on the crowd? Johnny G's pic and you say it was good.

Elliott's pic shows pretty sparse ( maybe it was taken at 3:00)

Sounds like pretty good feature bullrings generally are

Maybe it was a success for a new market. At least they didnt cut their teeth on a good Nationals feature and have to go back to this for a second dose. Its likely all uphill from here.

Possibly a sign of how good the racing is on an average night. It's good so often we feel cheated when it is less than great.

It had the same feel as a night race at DuQuoin or a fair track. I would say it was pretty full. There was as much passing as any other quarter mile race. Actually I expected the the trrack to come up and be real rutty due to hauling in dirt. It wasn't at all. Really was a rubber laden dry slick. Reminded me of the afternoon fair shows you used to see. The crowd thought it was great Tony Stewart was there. People next to me cheering on Kevin Thomas. Like I said people had a good time.

I have been to many tracks the same size that are dust bowls and very follow the leader,  You had to use some strategy to win and the winner did,
