I understand what you're saying. Using your logic to the extrme, why not pay the winner $25,000 and everyone else $0. Cerainly that would attract more cars- right? This whole Tastes Great/ Less Filling rant seems to boil down to using car counts to keep score. The $25,00 winner take all race would be Huge! I tell you. Huge! No one has ever done anything like this. Just Huge!

The dude gave every team 4 pit passes plus water and ice because of the heat. Not sure if pit passes are $25 or $30 but There's your extra $125-$150 per team no mater where they finish. Then obviously the extra gold bars for p1-p4. Someone else said: "fuel costs the same no matter If you finish first or last." Isn't that what the tow money program is for?! I'd say he's taking care of everyone just fine. drivers like to feel like they are being taken care of and Appreciated. And now there's a promotor whos trying his best and doing fun little things to make that a reality. Shame on him. He is terrible for the sport. Oh wait no he isn't.

I cannot believe how much more ignorant the posts get on here every day. I will be sure to call Brennan and let him know I am upset about him paying what he does and I get to see 30+ car 410 fields with B mains and heat races that actually mean something. Last year's 16 car fields with half being 360s was MUCH better. Shortie yes pit passes do cost the same for everybody, at Badlands last Saturday they were FREE for 1st place and for 30th place what the hell is your point?
How dare Jackson Motorplex pay the IMCA mods and stock cars more on Saturdays they are gonna put Algona and Park Jefferson out of business then when they have no competition for mods and stocks they are gonna drop the purse. That dadgum Tod is being naughty again!! SARCASM FOLKS!!!! Don't get panties in a bunch over that!

If you have money to throw around and want to impress me, don't give the winner an extra $5000. Give all the guys in the A feature an extra $200 and those in the B feature $100. That would impress me and about 30 racers. What better incentive to get cars back next week?

He throws bonus money at the winner for one reason: it makes headlines. No one really pays attention to what the guy who finished 13th makes but if you increase the winners share, that gets a lot of attention and its pretty obvious to me that Chuck Brennan loves attention.

Ummmmm excuse me. which promoter do you know who throws bonus money up for no reason? And then tell me does that promoter do it without telling anyone? Pretty sure any promoter who adds extra money to the purse is going to tell the drivers, fans, etc... And it's going to make headlines. So if Knoxville decides to make this coming Saturday's NSL show $10,00 to win instead of $5,000, you don't think they are going to promote the heck out of that? Last year they passed the hat to raise money for something at Jackson, but when they were done, they made sure they announced how much TQ was giving out or his own pocket. If that ain't a joke I don't know what is. So please let us know which promotors wouldn't want attention if they were putting extra money into the purse. Heck this last week when CB gave every team 4 pit passes and water and ice because of the heat, i don't believe they announced that at all. I heard from a friend who saw it on Twitter from a crew member. Man chuck is SO bad! Oh wait no he isn't.

Get your facts straight....Tod and his wife MATCHED what the crowd gave which doubled the amount to be donated! Jokes on you for not paying attention. I do see that Brennan has done several things to assist the less funded teams and that's great. But I do think his putting the extra money at the top has a secondary motive.....to try and attract other drivers of that caliber to Badlands. Nothing wrong with that, either, unless it begins to diminish the fields to a larger extent at other facilities. Then it has a negative outcome to the racing in the area as a whole. At some point things need to settle down and let each promoter and series adjust to the changes and each will get better.

Dude, go eat a Snickers. I didn't say other promoters don't want attention or any of the other bullshit you rambled on about. All I said was it creates headlines and Chuck Brennan likes to create headlines and draw attention. He has a rock star like demeanor. That's just who he is. Of course other promoters want attention when they do stuff like that. They want word to get out to other teams and for their contribution to draw extra cars and/or fans which mean more $$$ in their pocket. Chill the hell out a little bit.

just imagine if CB had announced on Monday that he was increasing the purse by +10K prior to Saturdays event. Everyone would've been crying foul because he was trying to pull cars away from Knoxville. He waited until the cars committed to him for the night and announced it at intermission, while 2 graders straightened out the track. That's rewarding the guys (and gals) that are supporting your track.
Do you think there's any money changing hands under the table for participation at a particular track on Friday night when 2 tracks 400 miles apart are competing for the same cars?

Anyone who would hire a Swindell to drive for them (Tod Quiring) is a douche by default, and anyone who hates on Chuck Brennan is an idiot. You, too, could start a race track and run it as you please. Laughable to rip someone for drawing bigger crowds, more cars, and paying more to drivers. It's beyond dumb, but most of you have the intelligence of a 7th grader, if that, so it's not that surprising.

I'd go ahead and throw yourself into that group with the intelligence of a 7th grader.

And, you would be wrong. I guess you are a Meyers fan, so you are primarily interested in operations funded with ponzi scheme money, not legitimately earned money like Brennan does.
