Thank you for your comments ,  I wrote why I am a fan for personal reasons to point out why I became a fan of racing not credibility . If you or any one don't find what I write sometimes opinion or sometime factual ,thats ok . I can't always list my resources . I don't write just to write , I like to hear others opinions , I replied to the original thread writer , thats how this one got started . Also  I state  what I know thats why I replied to this .

Robert, when you said that Drivers switched from the Woo to other series last year, that is not an opinion. That is a complete fabrication that you made up, and then tried to pass it off as a fact. In other words, your full of shit, because NOT ONE SINGLE DRIVER LEFT THE WOO LAST YEAR TO RACE ANOTHER SERIES! Can you at least admit that you made up that up?

It could happen that some WoO do switch as a few did last year . But I should explain it that some All Star drivers may consider staying local or race a pick and choose schedule , because of costs . It has nothing to do with me not liking the WoO organization ,it was what I was told . Lets  realize this ,the teams can't continue with high costs no matter where you race .  And I am not trying to argue but its a possiblity because if any team based in midwest could switch to NSL cause they race more local within 4 states or so . I agree that Tony Stewart's name has brought a level of exposure to the All Stars . Nothing would surprise me due to costs of running a team now days . Just look at it locally by July teams have trouble making races , costs and other things to compete .

Read your first sentence " it could happen that some WoO do switch as a few did last year" You typed that, right? Only problem is no one switched last year, you made it up, right? We're gonna have a break through here Robert, all you have to do is admit that you made it up, Remember, some potential media partner could be reading this Robert, if they see that you are incapable of owning up to your own bs you may miss out some sponsorship for race fans direct.

Sammons hurt his back again last year and has most of his stuff for sale in Area Auto,Dewease ran just about every race at Port after July. Talked to some people from Selinsgrove and they said Heimbach said he planed on going back their next year.I rely on Gators for alot of info and he said the last he heard nothing was definite on the chip car.

Dewease has stated he has nothing at this point, Will the Zemco car run every week again word is the 5w needs help or they wont race.

Dave Hahn not a big name but he retired.

Dave Ely goes back and forth from 360 and 410.

Havent heard anything on Lafferty.

Not sure where everyone is getting that Sammons is retiring. They just updated his website saying that they are about to release an exciting 2016 schedule and that he'll once again be behind the wheel of the 747 after taking the time to heal from his Port injury. People sure like to make shit up in the off season, lol.

A suggestion.  Let's start another thread where Mr. Altman and his critics can argue their postions forever so that the rest of us can ignore that thread and read what is of interest to us.  I'm not taking sides; I just want to read info relative to the actual heading of any particular thread.  Please!

Thank you Sir LOL he wasn't agreeing with you but he's right so , getting back on topic ,Port will be alright, car count should be close to last year give or take a few cars. If Heimbach and Snyder going to 360's is really a done deal then Selinsgrove picked up 2 more guys that can win any Saturday night. Nice to see some positive things happening at central Pennsylvania's one and only weekly 360 track.

I've gone to Selinsgrove for the 360 racing and its been better at times then other 410 shows . They are working on racing schedule at S-Grove  and it should be out soon . Steve Inch does a great job there and will do a great job as GM , promoter , announcer or whatever he does . In time maybe  not this year but if all goes well , I believe you'll see more renovations  there as well .

iI am starting to worry about the Port Royal car count next year heard they may be losing at least four cars.
Word is Heimbach12 is going back to 360,Nate Snyder 56 already went back to 360,Davey Sammons 747 might retire,Dave Ely3 maybe URC.

No word yet on Esh07,Erdly98,Wolfe1/5w,Lafferty 0,Dewease14/? or if Shaffer returns in chip car?

Marks plans to travel more and with Heffner at Selinsgrove what happens with Hodnett?

Jeremy Elliott just posted Dave Ely has retired from sprint car racing.  Thanks for all the years you entertained us Dave!

Let's go Sprint Car Racing!

Knoxville - Best Track In the USA!

I believe costs and not having fun driving anymore is making drivers think of retiring . It use to be about enjoying racing now its all about money . Sorry to see Dave Ely retire , a good guy .
