I guess what it boils down to is do you like a crash fest or a race. There were what? Seventy odd cars there for the Trophy Cup during the two days (three events)? Of those seventy to seventy-five, I'd bet a count of the cars that suffered damage or were nearly destroyed was close to or around thirty-five. And they weren't the "ball-less" drivers or back markers. There were many excellent well qualified drivers sucked up in the mud fence. Hell, Sheldon Haudenschild got caught up in an incedent when a soon to be lapped car got caught up in the crud. Sheldon drove onto the mud wall at about a forty-five degree angle (smilar to a hot wheel), and might have made it around the guy had the top of his wing side board not caught the top wing of the stopped car. A race track with a wall of mud that resembles the launch pad of a motorcycle speed drome does not have a normal racing cushion. A good raceable cushion makes for better racing. As far as who got caught up in it....I was not more or less dissapointed in any one driver's misfortune. I felt for every one of them. A lot of money was spent on repairs and potential earnings lost because of all the carnage.

Exactly. Last year they were flipping in hot laps

I could give a shit what Hirst says. He races there. He knows what to expect....a race track that is badly kept. Find me another track that has a mud wall like that one, built up to the outside wall BEFORE a car even hits the track. Ridiculous!

You have no idea what your talking about. Do yourself a favor and go to youtube and search up Trophy Cup.. You'll find more than enough evidence to dispell your ignorance
