Lasoski and Hodnett look like the smart ones on this list. They have run almost the same amount of races as the outlaws and made just as much money without the coast to coast travel. Making good money and still get to sleep in their own bed. Brilliant!!

Exactly what I was thinking as well. I also noticed that the number of races and $$ winnings for the All-Stars are less than I imagined. I understand the desire to travel and run different tracks to gain experience, but it certainly doesn't make sense financially IMO. Take Ryan Smith for example... he's only run 49 races with the All-Stars vs low to mid 60's for Hodnett, Dietrich, and Wolfe who have stayed on the porch for the most part. Plus their winnings are significantly higher. No guarentee that Ryan's winnings would be higher if he stayed on the porch, but he would have more track time with way less travel. Ott ranked directly behind him has only run 39 races in Posse land, but has earned as much money as Ryan.

I would assume also that he doesn't mean "just as much" literally--just in the ballpark
