So what if a driver after the race one lap later at full speed dodging threw cars that are slowing to try and dump somebody on the front stretch because he got takenout onthe last lap.  K. Swindell did this exact thing that night after a feature to johnny herrera but nothing wast done to him. So what should be done to driver who intentionally try wo wreck somebady when the race is over.

Suspended for the season...... Fined..... Banned...... REALLY???? Was it dumb to get out of the car, well maybe, but concidernig the 24 car ran shouse over an crashed him an then he climbed out, id say not that dumb..... On the other hand, decided to wind up an chunk a torsion arm.... Probably not the smartest thing, but what's really irritating is the hypocrites on here that want to crucify a guy for getting mad for the bad end of rough driving which ended his night. An would anybody really be blowing this up if what happened last year was nonexistent? No, you probably would have laughed a little, said man what an idiot, an moved on.

An settle it at the pits? Yea that's a real good idea.... How many times have we seen THAT get outta hand real fast?

So here's my last question for all of you that are trying to ban and fine an suspend shouse from all tracks all over the planet, honestly in the heat of the moment when your moving up for a decent paying money race an somebody stuffs you in the wall what would YOU have done?

Andy had a good run going. Yep he was pissed, should not have thrown the part but it happened. As far as getting out of the car, what the heck 81 has only one tow truck and n like 2 plush trucks. Maybe a couple of infield people. You gotta climb out some time.

Of course he was pissed off, & probably had a right to be (didn't see it)

But adults are supposed to control their emotions. Otherwise we'd have even MORE road rage killings, co-worker shootings, etc, etc.

Maybe none of them would have said anything before last year, but we all learned a lesson a very hard way by losing the young man in New York last year. Now that the lesson has been learned, the response towards safety for everyone involved is absolutely paramount. You can look at it as bashing on the internet, but behind every comment that you find offensive is a sense of concern for the driver's safety. Despite the negativity in any of the comments, I can say with absolute certainty that everyone of the people that had something to say in this thread wanted him to walk away unharmed. If a fine or suspension wakes him up to the reality of the danger that he placed himself in, and saves his life in the future then I'm all for it.

Yea I completely agree that losing the guy was a terrible deal, terrible for his family, friends, the driver that hit him, the fans, everybody, it sent a ripple throughout the entire United states. I also agree safety is paramount, but everybody has known somebody could get hurt going after another driver. Why do u think It grabs the spectators attention, because it's drama they can sit back an watch. One thing I don't understand is a bad accident happens an now everybody wants to drop the worst punishment on a guy for acting a fool in the heat of the moment.

point is, whens the last time somebody or everybody picked up a cell phone an text somebody driving, or drove when you know your to tired, or maybe went after somebody for flipping you off in a car. We all know it's probably not the smartest thing to do, we all know better just like Andy knows it probably wasn't the smartest thing to chunk the torsion arm. In my opinion no reason to try to do everything you can to ban or suspense or fine somebody though.
