local pit crew members are less likely to be under the influence because many are gainfully employed during the week in workplaces that already understand the value of safety.
it is the traveling circus who earned the reputation of over the road recreation that was written about by the interstate vagabond statistition in his column that put additional emphasis on the issue.
Perhaps some people just just have too much time on their hands while touring?
what are the CDL regs on piss tests?

it puzzles me that people worry this much about what others do on their own time.

ya i bet there is a high percentage of car owners/drivers on public assistance. probably an epidemic of people cashing their $1000 dollar a month government check and buyng $40,000 dollar motors. maybe this should be looked into. we should get a nationwide panel together and do a full investigation. everyone should have papers and records as to how they aquired their equipment

I was born with my equipment. LOL. I don't see how anyone that is holding a CDL is not on some kind of random. That is Federal unless there is some kind of loophole.

part 6? why do you have a hard on to give sprint car racing a bad name? is this the only way you can get hits on your articles? click bait, opinion based b.s is all it is
where does this stop? just the drivers? what about the rig drivers? how about the guys who drive the mule or 4 wheelers? what about the push truck drivers? flag men? rescue personel? all have a part to play in the safety of drivers and fans...
better question, what is more of a safety hazard, a driver/crew member who smokes some dope or a metal bridge that covers the track and is only a few feet off the racing surface?

After Tyler Walker, Tim Kaeding and Kevin Ward Jr. in recent years, the horse has long since left the barn regarding giving Sprint Car racing a "bad name" regarding drug use.

tyler walker wasn't in a racecar, neither was time keading. they never released the level in kevin ward jr's blood to the public. why? because if they did it would probably prove the kid may of had a doobie a few days earlier. common, 500 some odd dirt tracks accross the country lets keep the argument to on track instances where impairment was an issue. With the way current testing works TW could of showed his scripts for legal meth and would be cleared anyways.
