I thought Tommy Tarltons car looked awesome this year...matte black body, gloss black bolt-ons and black chrome lettering...maybe not typical "pretty" but super tough looking
Loose is when you hit the wall with the rear of the
car, tight is when you hit the wall with the front of
the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and
torque is how far you move the wall.

Winters would be so much longer without your great photos, SLINK51
The red, white and blue 29's will always have a place in my heart.
Thanks

My two favorite schemes this year were also some of the best feel good stories of 2014. And coincidentally, both of their career defining moments happened on the same day.
(I'm not the best with figuring out how to post pictures on here so hopefully someone can help me out)
1. Illinois' Ryan Bunton and his "Salute to the Troops" paint scheme that honored the armed forces and featured any past, present or family members of any military branch to sign the wing panel of his 6R. To top it off, the car looked sharp blasting around the Knoxville Raceway. There certainly was some 'luck' involved in his Nationals heat race, but after a dismal, forgettable season, Ryan qualified for the A-Main of Nationals sporting his memorable paint scheme proudly.
2. Pennsylvania's Tim Wagaman's fallen firefighters paint scheme. Annually, Lincoln Speedway hosts the 'Brandon Little Memorial' which honors Brandon, who lost his life in the service of others, and pays tribute to each and every firefighter that has perished in service. Tim Wagaman was close with the Little family and was actually in Brandon's brother's wedding so Wagaman and his 1* star team put together a special paint scheme for this memorial race. The car was absolutely gorgeous but the story that followed was even better. Tim is a low-buck local racer and heading into the memorial race had 1 career top 5 finish. All I can say is, Tim Wagaman crushed the Lincoln field on his way to his 1st career win. Sure it was Nationals weekend and a couple of the heavy hitters were missing, but that doesn't take away from a fantastic victory and a great story for the history books at Lincoln.
