I would rather have my night decided by 2 laps than by a pill draw. With ascs you may as well load half the time if you draw a bad number

For all of you Schatz haters. Guess what he isnt trying to be a dick but he also isnt trying to be a fan favorite. He is out there for 1 thing only, to win that is why he is the best. I bet he doesnt lose an ounce of sleep if he didnt get every autograph signed out of the 100+ people that stand at his trailer after every race wheather he won or not. Outside of racing I've ran into Donny a couple times( I live in Fargo as well) and he is a very engaging, nice person. People need to cut him some slack and realize the race track is fun for US fans but racing is his job and he is very serious and wants to be the best and thats why he is. Just because he doesnt have a voice like Johnny Gibson doesnt mean he is a dick or isnt interested, its the way he is, deal with it. You're watching the 2nd best sprint car driver ever. Enjoy it and dont hate.

When Steve/Karl and Steve/Scott were doing it every day, peope said the same thing in those days. The 15 car is in the same zone right now!! They are bad fast plane and simple!!

speaking of him starting 11th......does anyone else have an issue with a guy (not just Shatz) getting his time back when he can't transfer through a heat? It's always been a pet peeve of mine. Maybe the B main cars can tag the rear & start heads up there based on their B main finish. There should be some advantage going to the drivers that can transfer out of their heat

No rule bothers me at all--as long as the rule is the same for everyone and the rules are followed for the show. You can say (not just Schatz) but we know what you meant. Not anyone the WOO is trying to take care of. So put me down for a no--it doesnt bother me if everyone understands the rule before the show starts.

totally agree! I hate the rule but as long as its the same for everyone so be it. I think WoO has alot of changes to make after this year. I would like to see them scratch qualifying, top 2 from heat make the dash.

Remote traction control, Tony had it developed and Schatz runs it. Oh forget that. WOO runners would never cheat.

All I can say is that was one hell of a move to pass underneath 2nd place Chris Andrews AND leader Shane Stewart in 3 and 4!! It was truly amazing to watch the precision timing to make that move to send him on to the win. It would be hard to find anyone to deny that.

A local started on the pole just last night and finished 3rd. More locals have been knocking off the outlaws in recent times than ever before. Donny won from 11th. There are too many teams following the tour , not enough teams following the tour, the haulers are too fancy, Donny Schatz looked at you wrong.....
What exactly do you people want?

I agree that B Main guys should start in back.
Schatz is amazing. I'm still mystified how he consistently dominates, & I'm sure the other teams are too

I was there, saw it, & still find it hard to believe. Incredible
I would like to see someone else win, but in no way am I a "Schatz hater". He earns it
In fact I can't understand how fans take it all so personal. I respect all those drivers, they're risking their lives for our entertainment. I wouldn't.....

That may have been the first b-main he has had to run all year, so I hope you don't think that is going to keep him from winning races.

What Schatz is doing is no different than what Steve did for several years. Wolfgang also had some years where he couldn't lose. Schatz is in that zone where he just assumes he's going to win before they even unload. To make it worse, his competition is thinking the same thing. Guys used to wonder when and where Steve would pass them. Its the same with Donny now. You know he's coming. You just hope he gets held up and runs out of time. Not that anyone really wishes bad luck on someone but none of them would be too upset if he had a flat or got into someone else's mess now and then. Lol. To me, the fact that that never happens is astounding. How a guy can run as many races and laps as they do and never have a part failure or get in a wreck is just amazing. Even in Steve's heyday he would wad one up now and then. Donnie never ever crashes himself, or anyone else that for matter. And he's not just riding around being conservative. These guys are too fast. You don't beat them this much by not getting after it. I doubt he's going anywhere so might as well get used to it.

watched the VL interview...laughed and hit rewind when Schatz said there will be a new rule that you cant WIN if you run the B main!
never thought I would be saying this, but the guy has grown on me and I just might buy an STP hat at Port Royal.
