Was there ever a time when his stuff - all of it: race car, truck, trailer, everything - wasn't clean and fresh?
He had the professional, high-shine operation going long before it became the norm.
I helped a crew member unload a frame from the roof of the Old Milwaukee Chapparal trailer and we put a big scratch in the rear door. I still feell bad about it 30 years later.
