For those that have smart phones you can go to dirtvision and sign in and listen with headphones through your phone, or like I did on my way home from work yesterday, blue toothed through your vehicles radio. :-)

Anyone nail down the frequency being used? We plan on bringing a scanner this weekend.

Hey folks--here's the latest: Unfortunately, we're still having some pretty major issues getting the system up and running. Without going into too much technical detail, it seems the transmitter doesn't like being connected to any powered audio source (such as the mixing board we use to connect to my computer for the DRN broadcast and to the track's pa system). We've tried a couple of things that we thought would help, but it really hasn't done much to improve the situation. I've been in contact with the folks at Racing Electronics--they built the transmitter, but since this is the first time something like this has been attempted, it's pretty much a trial and error process. We're doing the best we can to try to get this up and running. Meanwhile, for this weekend at Eldora, the pa feed is broadcast on FM 87.9

Nothing new to report--still waiting to see what Racing Electronics comes up with. It sounds like they may be building a new transmitter. I'll post when we have more news.

Dear Johnny,
I am hopefull that you will be able to meet with the folks from RE this weekend at Charlotte. I am looking forward to being able to listen to you call the races while in the grandstands at WOO events in 2015! I hope they and troubleshoot the problems with the current device, or figure out how to get you something that works! Thank you for the time you have put into this and please keep us posted on the progress!
Joe
