Jason has lots of talent and he'll be just fine.  He's worked in many different areas including a year on the road on Steve Kinsers crew after racing his own car the year before.  He knows what to do and how to do it and trust me there is a pretty big difference between a 360 and a 410.  As previously mentioned he wasn't a fish out of water in PA and there hasn't been a tougher place to win in the country when it comes to weekly 410 racing.  On top of it all he's a helluva nice guy with a very supportive wife and racing family behind him, most of you would die to be in his shoes.......

Everyone seems to skip over the part of me saying he is an great driver and is very accomplished. I was at the race he won with the Outlaws at Williams Grove when he drove the 22 car. I believe it was a day show because of rain.

That was some years ago, I am saying that today when he shows up to race the Outlaws he does not look like that driver he is with the ASCS. I looked back at the replay on cushion.com and he is running near the back of the heat race not holding the bottom. I have seen races at Devils Bowl and Lawton and Donny Schatz could not beat Jason.

I think it is a valid talking point to talk about if its motors, confidence or whatever it maybe on a sprint car forum. I have never said he does not have a supporting family and a good wife. I have talked to the guy myself and he is always great to me and my kids. I would love for the guy to compete with the Outlaws more often. I am just pointing out what I have noticed. I thought that is what you do on a forum.

It is, then people get all testy at you for it. I agree, his stats in the 410 ranks do not seem to match up to the obvious talent he has. Lot of good possible reasons listed here. I would love to see him be able to dedicate his time to the 410s/ Outlaws and see him raise his game back to a Nationals podium level. Hoping to see the same from the Wayne Johnson as well.
