Parking the rig and car at someones shop up here would make sense... just wondering what his schedule is as far as being able to stay up this way in order to maintain the equipment, or fix anything if the need arises. I guess what I meant by "putting himself in a box" would be the conflict of the IRA schedule vs. other money shows out east/mid west. He would be a legitimate contender pretty much anywhere... but I guess it takes money to get to these events to make money, so maybe the IRA would be more cost effective and stable at this point. Whatever he decides, it would be great for the IRA if he even competes a handful of times. Wish him much luck in whatever he does!

really looking forward to Saturday! hopefully Bill will be there. 410's and 360's, should be a great start to the season. I could care less what the temperature is!

I fully agree! They got new clay this year at Beaver Dam. Its a little more red than it used to be. I went there and watched practice Tuesday night. At first look the track appeared to be drying out quickly. But once the sun went down, the moisture started pulling itself back up. I clocked Mike Reinke at a 12.01 (faster than any qualifying lap turned there last year if I am not mistaken) in his first session, and he only turned 3 laps or so. Those were the first laps of the year. Track record is somewhere around an 11.275. Hoping they don't seal the track over before the moisture has a chance to work its way back out. If it works out the way it did Tuesday, the track will be very tacky and FAST for the feature Saturday night. Cannot wait!

Looking forward to this. Hope they get some good drivers coming in. 360s suck but gives you a chance to get beer.

Could not agree more, we need more like him... I hope he finds some help and becomes a regular... Great Driver...
Anytime the IRA adds another Driver and Team it is good for all involved... Everyone should welcome him...

Weekends like the past two are going to absolutely KILL his funding for this year. From his home to Cedar Lake speedway has to be at least 8 hours each way. Rained out. Plus the rain outs in Sun Prairie, and now Beaver Dam Saturday. This is tough on most of the drivers because I believe they do not get any tow money if the races get rained out. Real tough break. I hope he finds some funding from someone so he can run the entire IRA schedule this year. Its been great having him up here!!
