It has nothing to do with being blessed. It is a passion that I make sacrifices for................

I know who 'RACEWAYTALK' is, and am familiar with the Fernley, Fallon, Dan Simpson situation. Don't believe a word RACEWAYTALK says because he is full of crap and just that---- a bunch of TALK!
Mr Simpson has done a lot more for 410 sprint car racing, and racing in general in Northern Nevada then the formentioned keyboard jockey ever will!

unbelievable. when someone comes along to "improve" the sport that we all enjoy so much there is always a loser...who is just that because he got dissed somehow...
and of course the first hand information is always "from a friend!" so that automatically makes it a fact!!! WTF
go big or go home i always say..
Ascot was the greatest of all time..
West Capital wasn't half bad either..
Life is good...

The best way to stop these kind of rumors/bs is to talk to the man himself at Placerville this weekend. I am sure he would like to know (good or bad) what is being said about him and his racing series. Straight from the horses mouth is the best way to clear things up.

I'm confused, the office staff all quit till they get paid but 1 of em stuck around just to answer the phone and let anyone that calls there know the ship is sinking?
I'm sure the promoter really does enjoy being told by unknown parties how to run his business. I often go into local stores and tell them how they should run there business as well and am always surprised and upset when they don't pull me into the office and ask me "Joe Shmoe" to write them up a business plan and they agree to follow it to the T.

I'm guessing Simpson made all his money AFTER he read this forum for several years and heeded the advice of the many "financial advisors" who post their intelligent business practices. Yeah, that's it.

No surprise as their top talent TK is essentially on the road running no local shows and point leader Rico is about to hit the road also...

The alleged statements still needs to be proved true. Until that time, there is nothing to be surprised about. There is still plenty of local talent running with the KWS: Allard, Hirst, Suggs, Croft, people still show up and root for BK, and part timers Jason Myers, Golobic, Tarlton, Scelzi, etc.

Both of those teams have lots of money to travel all they want, don't you think that is a major factor?

No matter what the situation is with the KWS those are still better business plans than stickin it out in a "local" series. TK races for a living so it makes way more sense to race where the money is. That said his team is still here racin the series. And it is smart of Rico to get out and race against different/ better/more talent on different tracks all over. I see that as trying to become the best racer he can. when I had the money that is what I did.Locking yourself into a point system limits your opportunities.
Finally livin the dirt dream.

Oh believe me I love that they are out on the road and hell if the $$$ allows it then go for it, it definitely makes you a stronger, more well-rounded driver. That's the problem (if you call it a problem) with the F.A.S.T. drivers and the Posse boys, they run so much at home for points and such and so little anywhere else that it limits their abilities when they do have to adapt at the big races at different tracks.
