Go to the next WoO race and visit the pits before the race and tell that to Scott and Steve. Please let me know how you make out. If you can't make it, let me know I'll get you some phone numbers to contact them.

You know when a Kinser thread has hit the "don't bother to read the next post" stage when somebody challenges the previous post saying "my driver can beat up your driver!"
I know a lot of drivers and crewmen, some working on 4 cylinder Hornets, who could put a whoopin' on most anybody. Not siding against Scott and Steve but I could never understand how bringing the prospect of an ass whoopin' into these conversations proves anything.

I would have to agree kinser needs new motors ever since about mid year last year him and kraig have went way down. On this rate they'll roughly finish 9 & 10 in the points and also if somethin doesnt change soon for both Kinsers and swindell they will be watching the nationals Amain.

ATTN KING KINSER....as soon as you read this post and realize how smart the OP is and figure out that your motors are junk please contact me. I would love to have a couple or three of your bullets for my nonwing car...as you know, they are junk so I will be more than happy to offer you their worth in scrap aluminum prices and I will even go so far as to meet you wherever your rig is headed right now to grab them and get them out of your way. Junk or not, I have a feeling that they would be a little bit better than the all steel 305 I currently have in the car..I know how busy the life of a fulltime outlaw is and I know you don't have time to be stopping a scrapyards trying to find the best price so please just let me handle all that for you.

perhaps the strong desire to win is not as it once was, I have no doubt if the crew chief or the engine were the problems they would be changed as they have the information that they need.
I still enjoy watching Steve run around the track, I think it is an honor to watch the most winning WOO driver on the track. I would bet he is still in top 3 money of all sprint car drivers, those t-shirt and hat sells add up.
Thanks Steve for all the good memories and hopefully you keep it on the track as long as you want!

every driver goes thro a slump, IMO , Kinser has done today what was effective to win races in the past, its hard to try new things when the winning recipe is in your kitchen notes. todays competition has blind sided him , their younger, stronger and have nice equipment with promicing talent, stradegies have been honed, by the younger competitors they simply have caught up with the Kinser/Sammy caliber driver, thus amazing competition, I strongly believe Steve and Gerkin are doing what seemed to work in the past, making changes to accomidate rules sometimes makes (you, as a driver) take two steps back (oe, how I know).. its frustrating! the only thing I truly miss is seeing Steve,Sammy , and Doug battle.. that was a different time and place in this sport, they were the power teams with anything at their disposal, everybody else had their pants down trying to mimic what they were doing, how I wish Knox could have a "king of the hill" 10 lap grudge race with the "mean three", that place would be sold out... Mark my words, theres still some thunder in S.K's camp.. He knows how to drive , maybe not as dominat as he once was , but, it takes alot to impress me, seeing him run forward thro the pack is something you cant deny he can do..

Things like what I said are common internet responses informing the original poster that he doesn't have a clue what he's talking about.
It's meant to be an outlandish statement that in no uncertain terms matches his post.

If you take the wings off, Steve and Sammy would devastate the field IMO.
Would be interesting to see a comparison of track size during the series year in and out, and its effect on driver winnings. Used to be a lot of WOO tracks were half miles. Hard to see how anyone even runs a wing on a quarter mile(some advertised as quarters look even smaller).

Some of us have been around even BS (before Steve) so we have witnessed his entire career.
I have said it many times....Steve and Opp are the two best I have ever seen in a sprint car. No equals in my mind.
Steve is not the strapping 20 year old of yore but he can still get it done. I don't think there is one person posting at this site who could keep up with him.
Long live Steve "The King" Kinser and may he end his career with a win!

I'm in the same boat as you Opnwhlr....I think Steve is quite a bit better than Jan was actually..I know its somewhat hard to compare totally. But just on driving style and good runs, I would go with Steve.
