Big Al,
Thanks for the response. I agree this will be a blast. I plan on building a car and just wanted to make sure which rules you were going to use.
One more question. What kind of track will be used, wood or aluminum, and also how long is the track? Thanks and looking forward to this event...CZ

The first rules I posted are what will be followed. This is meant to be a fun fundraiser for us and the NSCHoF. I just built three car for a event we did last week. I had aftermarket axles and wheels on mine it was slower than the two with stock ones I built... From What I have learned getting the axles in straight and being right at 5oz are the two big key ( where you put your weight is huge ) Lets not over think this lets build some cars have a lot of fun and raise some money!!!
1: Must use both wing from the kit 2: Car must have four wheels ( there are many aftermarket wheel available which is fine) 3: Max weight of 5oz... No motors
Thanks Big Al

Thanks Big Al. Glad you said no motors. We have a charity derby for the boy scouts and its grown so big we raised $50,000 last November. The first couple of years we had growing pains and finally had to say "gravity" only. Its all for charity, but someone always has to bend the rules and takes the fun out of it for everyone else. So I'm with you, lets raise lotz of money and have fun. Twister
