You read this posting and one thing comes to mind.... Do these people call themselves die hards? Cause this is still the only place in the state of California that has local 410 winged sprint car racing on dirt. To hear some of this, well it gets old. Instead of getting on here and typing away, take some farm equipement to the track, so they can properly prepare this facility. Seems like alot of complaining from people that love sprint car racing. If Chico dies out, what will we have left?.... I seen Tk make some passes, and the move of the race was the pass on the lap car. MAN, how did he make that work? BK moved up also... Just hope i dont have to think about a life without the silver dollar speedway.

If s.d.s dyes we will have Marysville, Pville ,petaluma, mercedjust to name a few I an sure one of these tracks could step up and put on a friday night 410 show.

Don't get me wrong I would hate to see s.d.s close I just want a better show.

If I knew anything about track prep I would be there every friday to prep the track.

I would love to learn f someone would teach me.

See what I mean, and this is the response? What about tradition? Silver Dollar has more then all those combined. As far as putting on a better show, yea why not one of those tracks step up and put on a 410 weekly show.... Not going to happen... And as far as showing up on friday and preping a track, well its already to late if you show up friday to prep a track for a friday night show.

TK said it himself 30 seconds after getting out of the car. "They better do something to get two lane racing here before the outlaws come!" HE MADE IT WORK BECAUSE HE IS F'N CRAZY AND WENT PLACES NO ONE ELSE WOULD WHILE MASHING NOT BECAUSE THE TRACK WAS DECENT. THEY JUST NEED TO ANNOUNCE THAT THE TRACK WILL BE RECONFIGURED BACK TO THE ORIGINAL BANKING AND I WILL FEEL BETTER and have hope.

We had a blast this weekend. Pulled the trailer down, met some nice people and watched a fun event. The couple next to us in the campground are Petaluma regulars and were more than happy with the event.

Anyone wondering about coming to Gold Cup please don't only listen to the negative posters. There are alot of us fans that understand all of the work they are putting in to making this year another great event.I look forward to meeting some more fun people like we do at every event we go to there.

Anyone that thought that was a good racing surface and a good race should have been cut off at the beer booth right after qualifying cause you must have been hammered. There wasn't a happy person in the pits with that race track.

This will be my last post. I'm not good at expressing myself. Everyone knows it wasn't a good track Sat, but that doesn't mean everyone is sitting there in misery.Lapped traffic always comes into play even on the worst nights.I've been to plenty of races around the country where tracks are so bad that you can't get through time trials without cars bicycling and flipping by themselves.

I'm not trying to convince any of you complainers of anything, we're all entitled to our opinions,I just don't want someone who is thinking of making their first trip to see nothing but negitive crap on here to avoid coming.

You can't possibly come to Gold Cup without meeting and visiting with nice people unless you choose not to.Chico Fan, it sounds like you guys have quite a time in turn 4!

Never seen anyone say that was a good racing surface. As far as going and buying beer at the track, isnt that for rookies? anyways... Seemed like TK was a little excited after his win saturday... Dont get mad cause JA and young money had a bad night.... Bet most of those so called mad people in the pits show up come Gold Cup time, cause after all its GOLD CUP! Didnt see anyone on here last year complaining about the surface during last years Gold Cup when a local won it.... Just stop it already... REALLY?.....

Last years track was different then this years. This years is flatter& wider which should promote better racing . I am not a track expert so I am not sure what happen.

I am sure that is why they have smaller car counts Bad track = low car counts and fans

Good Luck at gold cup

Go early and buy a ticket. One of the people inside is Dennis, the promoter. I have asked him why the new reconfiguration, if you ask, he will tell you. As far as lower car counts, well they are down everywhere through out the country. Not just an isolated incident. Flatter and wider promotes better racing? you musta heard this from someone who is trying to sell you a ticket here. Cause the old track configuration had some of the best racing in california. anyways....

keep riding hard, best believe im not following
