all i did was ask 2 questions , maby you can read back to the start of this thread and clearly see all i did was ask 2 questions . it seems some of you are full of drama and wish to provoke some sort of problem from me for asking questions .

What make's you think you are owed any type of response from a track promoter on a public forum ? How many promoter's do you have an online relationship with on this board? In your own word's "read back" and one of your question's was already answerd. The truth you say you speak doesn't mean "you heard" = fact.

brett i will ask all the questions i want to ask in this forum . what i ask and who i ask is not up to you , thanks . john aden will not be doing the track prep as of 2 days ago , so things are changing and i an asking questions . i was told scotty was only going to put enough clay on the track to cover the existing surface , due to cost . .that amount would be blown off in hot laps , and would be a waste of money and effort ,if this is the case . no one ran off the last promoter he was a flake , and yes i have had dealings with him in the past . it would break my sprintcar heart to see this happen again and if the new promoter makes the same mistakes the last one made , we might just lose this track for good !! sb early on you seemed to address all questions, hopefully this is still the case ..

This really does show how caring of a person you are and displays no negativity at all.

With all due respect to everyone on the message board, deal with it and get on with life. The facts are that the clay was just bought and is being down, nowone knows what the amount is. the other facts are John Aden knows dirt, is was in the grading buisness long ago. John is probally the only person that would know what and how to do the track. BUT it takes more than 1 week to undue the problem with the surface. Also remember what it takes to do a race track. try renting the equipment, A motorgrader with a ripper is about $1000 per day plus $400 per day for an operator, not to mention the $400 move in move and out charge. Now add a water truck and an operator. Minimun this would be $4500 for 3 day plus move out charge not count the haul in of clay. Thats what makes John an expert at this and he has donated a lot of personal time to that track. In this hot weather there should be some water wet mixed into the water truck (soap sudds) that helps break down the soil. I would really hope that Scott would and everyone else would see what it takes to make a good dirt track. John Aden knows how to do this. I hope for the best for the track and Scott Burns. But you cannot wait until the last minute to fix the problem. I know I will be there and will probally bring the hardest rr tire i can find just incase. Thank you everyone and lets have a good race.

I was just at the track about an hour ago (8-10-12, Noon). There are piles of fresh loose clay pretty much all the way around the track. I had seen a double trailer center dump truck leaving the pit gate as I arrived. Too damned hot for me to hang around.

There's no question that the axil manages to get himself misunderstood when he post's about VV, so we're just going to have to try a little harder, and be patient with him, OK.wink

There's also no question that if anyone expects miracles the first time out on new clay, regardless of the weather, their most likely going to be disappointed, but man, is it a good start or what?.... See you all next weekend.

The weather for Victorville for the week is nothing under a hundred degrees until sunday race day then we get a nice cool 99 . But good news Saturday the 18th at the PAS will only be 95.
We need more sprint car racing at our home track.

The Buzzard say's to me, "No worries", as if he thought I thought he'd go Nose 2 Tail on me for thinking him a Aussie. LOL In case some of you don't know, at times there's just a bit of friction between the two county's, especially in sports.

cursio all you did was try to make a few dollars and you gave up . im not a fan of yours , i wasnt in 1990 . there is a reason usac would not go near that track with you promoting , thats a fact ! whats funny is some people just cant stand to hear the truth , and even more , most are plain afraid to speak it . i am not one of those people .

To settle all of the questions.

1. We are lucky someone is willing to take over a problem plagued track in this economy.

2. We NEED all sprint and stock car tracks to remain on the West Coast.

3. Whatever the track drivers will put on a good show. Fans will appreciate. If you are a driver and other cars don't hook up then it will to your advantage.

4. My old crew chief had a great answer when I complained about the condition of the track.

Simply stated, He said, "I am sorry I didn't know you were the only car running on this surface

tonight at this track. Instantly the light went on. He is right, all cars and drivers run on the same surface

good or bad. A heavy track will help 410's and a dry slick track will help the underpowered

360's which come to run. Other than that who has the best setup and driver that night.

5. My mom always said if you can't something good about someone then don't say

anything at all. So my comment would be then "I am sure the track's super critics have great friends and relatives.

6. Yes, I do go to races as a spectator and yes, we do have a 360.

&. I will not be able to attend due to another committment but I hope only the best for the

promotor and all of the teams.
