Congrats to Mason on the win, but does Calistoga know what track prep is? It seems like they just show up to collect the money. Dust in wheel packing. Common. Also the score board not working is pretty crappy as well. This place will get one more shot in October for the big money. Screw that up and never again. The place has a ton of history, but you ride on those coat tails for so long.

to me the race track is at fault for track conditions,score board not working,fans smokeing in stands,restrooms covered in water.come on calistoga lets get it together for world of outlaws or you will see less of a crowd

You can blame the scoreboard not working on me not being there. I won't run it when USAC is there so hopefully the best sanctioning body in the world (sarcasm) can peel someone off to run the thing because it obviously ain't that hard to do since they let me do it. I should be able to make it for the WoO and the open show they have in October.

Track prep was very poor. 2nd time in a row for me on that. But I would go back if I thought that message was heard and a better effort was on tap for next race.
Now the water (we hope it was just water) all over the restroom floor: The old lady doesn't care about the track going dry slick in hot laps, but the conditions in the bathroom are another issue. Track operators don't realize how many ticket, parking and concession fees they miss out on when they ignore the state of the womens' restrooms at their facilities. She won't be back, and unfortunately that impacts my potential for a return.
