As far as a 7 hour drive, HELL NO!! 45 minutes for me and I hardly ever go.
place sucks. No passing unless in lapped traffic. WoO's couldn't pick a worse track to go in Wisconsin. If they had any sense, they'd race at Oshkosh.

Its a shame that you need to come on here and just bash against people and tracks. A nerd? Really? What are you twelve? Grow up. Plus, if you wouldn't go 45 minutes for a quality race, that just shows how much of a supporter you are to sport. You think they couldn't go to a worse track? You think every track is horrible. God dang. It's all the same with you. I'm actually surprised you said something somewhat nice about Oshkosh.
Anyway, Beaver Dam has a great facility. If the track is tended to properly, it is great racing. The way the cushion pushes up right against the wall is thrilling. Drivers can easily put a slider or two on the opposing car. No doubt about it.

check that. went to Oshkosh last night. left after the 9 modified heats and 3 IRA heats. 3 good cars and a horrible track. 16 second laps on a 1/3 mile is not very exciting. make that 4 good cars. why doesn't the 83D put someone good in that thing like Goeden? apparently they don't care if they win or not.

It would seem that "Strange" was out of circulation for some time and has now been let out. Perhaps it was something he said to someone that got him in. Not that he would make any statements that might get him into trouble with anyone but there is always that possibility. Nice to see the "Good Humor Man" back and bashing.

Don't pay attention to the troll. Strange does this all the time. I'm guessing there's some aspect of his/her life that is very 'lacking' that causes him/her to whine constantly. How bout that battle between kertscher & balog last night?! Whole crowd on their feet!

He has issues with life in general. Sad sample of a sprint car fan. I dont think he left the track, just saying that to make people think he knows what he is talking about. The Balog Kertscher battle was good. Too bad 80K cut a tire. I was hoping it would go like that to the checkered.

Strange Wings, you are probably the only one who comes on here and talks bad about our local entertainment. For what it is, its pretty good. It's not garenteed, but almost expected to have a good battle for the lead every night. With the way Balog and Kertscher battling the way they do, it's great racing. Plus, you can never count out Reinke, Neitzel, and Sexton. For anyone to say that the quality of racing that the IRA gives off is quote on quote "not very exciting" is just plain redundant. You sir, defile the sport of dirt track racing with your negitivity and bashful comments.
