11th one here. Cant beleive enough people gave up seats for all you newbies. All the seats around me haven't changed faces in many years. Your in for a treat.
FantasyDirtracing---- There has always been tickets for sale outside the front door from fans that have extras and some scalpers. tues wed thur easy to get face value or less sometimes. fri and sat are a little tougher
Jtowm----At the track we hit the trade show before and walk the pits after and watch lots of racng. They run a really smooth show with few breaks to get all the races in. enjoy

Last year work interfered all week but drove down Sat morning and made roughly a 24 hr trip out of it from KC. I think the one day pit pass was $50, a little steep but I'd pay it again in a heartbeat. Im sure the other days arent as much, and if you get there early enough there are a lot of seats on the backstretch side, but they fill up quickly. Hoping to be able to make 2 nights this year if all goes well.

Newby's - It's warm inside. The first time I went I had blankets and coats, etc. Everyone knew it was my first time. Warm clothes to get into the building - t-shirt weather inside. Great racing and a happening. Tulsa has a lot to offer (and I'm from Texas).
I'm even thinking about driving up for the Shootout New Years Eve. I love it up there.

Oh yes - I don't want to miss a lap - hot laps or racing. I'm there from Tues. to Sat. morning to the end. I grab a bunch of the masks provided for filtering the air. It's getting better every year... but I still use the masks. The EPA monitors the fumes - so all is okay. 8 acres under one roof ... track, stands, pits & trade show all under one roof. Take it all in and enjoy. In the past the pits have been open early in the day, too.

Check on Indiana Open Wheel Forum. There were several for sale. You might have to go back to page 4-6 to find them. Good luck!

This will be my father & I's 20th consecutive year to attend. It is one of the highlights of our year spending time together for the week enjoying some great racing. Been pretty lucky with our travels over the years, having had 2 flats during the drive and one abbreviated trip due to a death in the family. Looking forward to taking my son one day!
