In following all the different forums out there, there is No Question this Board is the most Passionate Loyal Fans in Motorsports. You guys flat tell it how it is, and if a Promoter, or Track needs a butt kicking, you guys will give it to them! (lol)...As a Promoter I can appreciate that, it just makes me work Harder! So here is the deal to show my appreciation......This Sat. Night when you go to the Box Office (I hope) You mention this Board, and you will receive a Free Meal Ticket....(This is not good at any Concession Stand as I don't get any of that).....You bring your Ticket to a Special Yellow taped off area Top left corner of main Grandstands..(Where Cowboy and Turn4 rob sits)..It will be the SCRAFAN Section for this Sat. Night.....At 5:45 before the Heats start at 6:00 PM....I will have Pizza's and Drinks brought to your section FREE to show my appreciation of such Loyal Race fans......So tell me who's coming so I can make sure I get plenty of Pizza's.......also join us on our New facebook Page...VRP (Victorville Raceway Park)..Thanks for your support.....Steve

At Perris the week before 26 cars with an added purse over $5000.00, Belville National Migets $12,500 to win 24 cars, low car counts are going to be the norm we need to get used to it.

Steve ty for the race you have done well i saw a sprint car race within a 100 miles of home. thank you number two for having a talk with the flag man when it was needed . that was a scary moment. Now as for the car count im pissed . ventura was dark and none of them guys other than ronnie case were here so i guess if they dont wanna support sprint car racing in so cal especially when theres a nice purse up for grabs i guess i wont wanna drive the 100 plus miles each way to ventura raceway to support them . shame on you guys for not coming to VV to make this a great show and you all knew about it . so far all of you sprinters in ventura not only your weekly shows but your west coast challenge you can shove them where the sun dont shine cause myself and as many as i can get will be at canyon in peoria that weekend . quite more than 100 miles each way . guess ventura sprinters are scared to drive on a track alot faster than that lil ventura . and last of all was pretty cool watching davis come from the back well done. Steve ill be back and ty for the 30 laps.
We need more sprint car racing at our home track.

Speaking for at least 1 of the 410 teams ( and I"m sure there are more in the same situation ) We would like to support
Victorville - but being a team that finances itself, at this point it is a stuggle to just make it to the series that we committed to at the beginning of the year. As it is now, the team is not even able to travel to one of it's favorites tracks
Santa Maria next weekend....
Appreicate all Steve is trying to do to keep sprint car racing alive in So. Cal, but we all know times are tough -

it was a good main event but there is just something missing i feel when the announcer is talking there playing music just seemed very un organized guess we all have our thoughts about usac but they do have a good flagman that is alert and also they dont leave a car that hit the wall siting in the cornor for 2 heat races because the tow truck didnt know how to pick up a car but i will support vv but think maybe steve should come to the pas or another track to see how they run there show just seems trying to run a good show but trying do do it the cheapest way with unexsperinced officials and im affraid someday that may hurt someone

Whats it gonna take to get you guys up the road to Santa Maria? Perhaps some of us keyboard jockeys could throw a few bucks together and get you some gas for the hauler or what have you.
Cheers!

maybe if some of these "big" teams would get rid of there $300,000 rigs they could afford to race!

You got as many VRA cars as Ventura gets VV cars when the track is dark.
I dont know why you people cant get it through your heads but with the exception of 3 or 4 teams I can think of VRA cars DO NOT travel. They have the longest schedule with the most races of any local series so maybe towing 300+ miles to run is not in their racing budget when trying for a VRA championship.
Im sick of this attitude, when was the last time you went into the pits thanked a driver and slipped them $20? Never? Well shut the hell up. Its pretty goddamn easy to spend other peoples money. I can think of a dozen VRA teams struggling to even get to Ventura raceway to compete for points Why would those guys tow to run against 410s?
Most of the VRA cars who ran VV last year NEVER got paid. Why would they come back?
The VRA drivers that have supported VV have said they couldnt make this race for various reasons...

Buzzard is SPOT ON.
Hey Randy (Dirtface), we're sorry that we would like a weekend off and enjoy a Saturday once in awhile. Maybe if you raced you would realize it takes up the whole weekend, All day Saturday and then we wash and maintenance on Sunday. Ventura rarely goes dark giving us maybe 1 weekend a month to relax and get some projects done around the house, maybe even spend sometime with the Wife and Kids (those who have them).
Too scared to run VV? you're an idiot. Last time I checked, A Ventura driver won the last 2 open 360 Shows there.
Maybe you should confront Troy Rutherford, Greg Taylor, and Josh Ford about being scared to run other tracks than just Ventura...

guess i stirred the pot for all you ventura fans .and maybe i should have chose my words better about them being scared im sure they are not . just a remark to get a reaction and well i guess it worked . and if it would challenge ford or rutherford to show back at perris and race i would confront them . but for some reason i dont think they would .and as for taylor id cheer for him anywhere. but i still think some would make an effort to show at other tracks with a nice purse every chance they get. and yes i know im an idiot so tell me something i dont know. and there wives probably shoooosh them out the doors on saturday cause they dont like them anyways .lol
We need more sprint car racing at our home track.

Thank you for your post --
We appreciate your thoughts. We are currently putting our efforts into replacing all the parts that were destroyed at the last race ( rear end, shocks, birdcages, arms, bars etc. ) - so we can support the next Perris race and the show at Calistoga -
Turn 4 -Rob-
When teams invest their $$ into “hard parts” like rigs, many of them look at the long term.
Moose Racing has campaigned a sprint car for close to 20 years and also looks to the future. Traveling and towing the amount of weight that is loaded into sprint car trailers is a huge factor. SO when you sit down and do the numbers on pick up truck versus a motorhome that is designed for towing - and is designed to last for over a million miles, for under a couple hundred dollars more a month, it only makes sense. ( which, by the way is in no way close to the $$ you suggest - ) That couple hundred $$ difference in the payments, is made up quickly: as several crew members travel together, sleeping arrangements included ( eliminating hotel $$ ), food is prepared in the rig,( eliminating restaurant stops and $ 6.00 track burgers ) and the fact that milage is usually better in them also.
