I e-mailed the state fair and requested to be accompanied by a security guard or employee and let me take the bench I sat on for 30yrs and maybe one of those tire lights and the traffic light on the flagstand and got no response. This was about two months ago. Bunch of dicks.

It would be kind of cool to have a tailgate party in the parking lot before they level the place or is that against city rules too?

Well according to the city the fairgrounds are private property unless you attending an event then it is public property.
