I will proudly sport my Jesse Hocket t-shirt this weekend
Great driver, even better off the track. Members of my family shared many a laugh with him during the Nationals.
GOD SPEED JESSE

Jesse you will be deeply MISSED , so many memories of you from US36 Raceway to Lakeside Speedway to XX Speedway to Oskaloosa, Chili Bowl,I-30 Speedway and all the other tracks inbetween . I am glad to have seen you win your last race at XX Speedway Sunday. The "WRENCH" Daniel McMillin, Crew chief died a few years ago in July, now has his driver again, Jesse " The ROCKET " Hockett at the wheel , gone way way too soon , and so many of us , ask why it was your time , including myself . When ever you showed up at a track with the Rocket in the pits , you new there was going to be a show where ever he was starting, you would keep your Video or Digital camera on that kid , as well as many other drivers , the fans get to see each week.
We will miss you Jesse , R.I.P.,
thoughts and prayers go out to Tina and the rest of the Hockett family and fans.

It is sad to see another one added to the A-main in Heaven. Time to put on a show for those up there. Say 'Hi' to Opperman for me and beat him in this years 'Heaven on Wheels Sprintcar Nationals!'
