Although Chris Graf was a bit concerned about the redraw procedure for the A Feature race (one chance to pull a zero, two chances to pull a four, two chances to pull a six, and one chance to pull an eight), it all worked out well for the Glencoe Rocket. Chris pulled a six pill, thus inverting the top six cars in points after the heats and challenge races were done. It took Chris 9 1/2 laps to gain the lead, so I think the invert worked out okay. Barickman really charged forward on the opening lap, going from 5th to 1st! At least the fans got to see a couple of strong cars and talented drivers pass some cars enroute to their first and second place finishes. Although the drivers may have liked it, starting both of them on the front row would not have been much of a show for the fans. We have to try and keep some kind of a balance between fairness to the drivers and fairness to the fans, as both groups are extremely important. So far in the three UMSS races this season, either a four or six pill has been drawn by the high point driver, so the weighted average is playing out. I imagine before the season is over, the zero pill (straight up) and the eight pill will also be pulled, maybe more than one time.

Yes I am Nate Ediger from BP. I did talk with Chris after the feature. I don't know who it is that you spoke with and was told that I didn't, but that is irrelevant to the matter.
I went up and congratulated him on his win and that I wasn't accusing him of not being legal or anything else. I have witnessed how much improvement he has made while behind the wheel and in the quality equipment that he has to work with.
thanks for reading, Nate
