Any quiet muffler will work...equal to the schoenfeld
Radios are mandatory...we will have rental radios at the track for anyone that does not have one

ASCS doesn't qualify do they? I assume the Tijauna Taxi Cab's do though ? ? Is this correct? I hope the Blue #18 is able to show
|
The"Tijauna Taxi Cab" have bigger motors than 360's, nicer cars, IMO, better show, IMO, and will qualify. (REAL RACING). Some of the 20 or so cars than will be attending to show their "Taxi's" are the following:
5K Mike Kirby (CRA), 12 Ron Bartels, 7X Chris Barnett, 77 Bill Bartels, 18 Cody Barnett, 8 Matt Goodwin, 5K Dino Napier, 75 Tommy Malcom, 58 Jim "Tooth Doc" Giardina (CRA), 18X John Crow, 27 Nick "Kid Harley" Bartels, 96 Carla Laney, 41 Mike Hixson, 53 David Spears, plus others from Bakersfield and Santa Maria.
These guys are for real. Past Sprint Car Drivers.............Mike Kirby (Ascot Champ CRA), Big Hallers, 5 car teams, three or four 2 car teams.............don't be fooled by the "Tijauna Taxi Cab" comments.
Great show............you will see.............NICE TO SEE RUN WITH 360's.

As big of an ASCS fan as you claim to be - I can't believe that you asked the question about qualifying. The answer, as if you didn't know, is no. And as far as your past claims about this racing organization taking over California - dream on. The 410s will live on!
I will be there but only in support of the best race track in the country.

Trip Crown....are you playing with a full deck?....And I'll say this to all....The Taxi cabs will also put on a fantascis show! Man ,those guys pitch it sideways and lean on each other! And they do not wear the track out qualifing either.

Kirby put on a hell of show last time. Looking forward to some racing after a 30+ day absence.

Just want to let our fans know that Danny Sheridan and Kittle Motorsports will not be at Perris tomorrow. We were looking forward to getting back there in a 360 and had everything ready to go. Unfortunately, we found out this morning that ASCS rules do not allow raised port heads (regardless of any combination of gaskets / intake restrictors) and this is all we have. The motor that we ran in 2008 and 2009 is sitting at the engine builders and we just haven't been able to get it freshened. We will be ready to race the 410 at Perris and Tulare next weekend!

I believe you have the wrong poster there scoreboard. My post said nothing about the tin tops. Mike Kirby is one of the best drivers anywhere - no matter what he happens to drive. Check out my pal Ascot - he had the comment referring to the "Tijuana Taxis". BTW, I haven't lost my mind yet, but let me check with the wife and get back to you.
