T-Mac gets himself into a lot of those racin' deals. I can see why he idolizes Rahmer.

yeah looks to me like two guys who thought the other would touch the brakes, one of the reason sprint car racing is fun to watch, thankfully no one hurt and equipment not too bad

Racin deal.... Nuff said. You could argue either way... Its racing, not the first time wont be the last.

Racin deal? What are you smoking?

I could tell from your earlier posts that you were looking for any reason NOT to blame it on Terry. Even you would have thrown blame if you didn't think that Terry was at fault. Whenever it's Terry's fault, it's a "Racin Deal". LOL

That is typical McCarl. I will guarantee you that if McCarl didn't think that it was his fault, he would have been out of that car and yelling at Shaffer. As calm as McCarl sat in that car and wasn't yelling at anyone tells me that Terry screwed up and he knew it.

Good post ....

After watching the video I agree even more .... looked like a racin' deal and that's why this style racing isn't NAPCAR with cruising until 10 laps to go .....'saving fuel and my tires'

And OMG !!! make some contact at race speeds.

Gotta hand it to 2009 FAST ROY & 2010 All Star ROY contender Cap Henry. Keep your eye on this kid. As he gains experience on the road he will only get better.

It's equivalent to a receiver dropping the football because he knows he's about to get hit... McCarl and Shaffer took themselves out because they heard the Posse coming.

Nice job by Mark Smith and the rest of the Posse on neutral ground in Floriduh.

2010 Driver Points as of 2-11

1 1 Stevie Smith 693
2 7m Mark Smith 620
3 39 Doug Esh 614
4 51 Fred Rahmer 613
5 83 Tim Shaffer 607
6 30c Lance Dewease 606
7 17 Daryn Pittman 605
8 w20 Greg Wilson 605
9 2 Dale Blaney 597
10 4 Cap Henry 568

McCarl maybe be know for getting rough, but he is also a very honest person. My guess is if they would have interviewed him he would said it was absolutely his fault. Ya win some, ya lose some and some get rained out.

Yeah, that's definitely a racing deal...if you're racing against T-Mac. Schaffer does know where the brake is but that was a classic T-Mac slide-job.

I was at this race no need to fluff the feathers. The only pass all nite for the lead ended up taking both first and second place out ,Brandon wimmer and Dale Blaney each runnin 2 nd crashed out Wayne Johnson spun while runnin second also.So that puts Smith at about sixth with just a few laps to run.He did what he had to and survived. But overall the racing pretty much Sucked follow the leader. The USAC show both nites was much better racing.

The 9 posts about "in what corner" cracked me up! IN WHAT CORNER????!!!!!!!!!

It's funny when 2 drivers play a game of chicken (which is what a slider is, btw) that we think one or the other will be smarter than the other. That was 2 pro drivers that know how to win battling it out. "racing deal"... I guess.

USAC show was better?????? LOL

Of course it was!!!!!!! No comparison in wing/nonwing racing... nonwinged shows I've seen have been way better IMO but when the purses & politics became too much for USAC to rule the roost... in stepped Uncle Ted and wings.

If USAC had a 100 race DIRT schedule and paid $10k to win each night... the best of the best would run USAC.

They don't, so they won't.

Doesn't mean that nonwinged races aren't awesome!

Didn't Gardner lead all 60 laps in the 2 features at East Bay? I am sure there was some great racing in the pack, but just wanted to point out Non-wing guys win from the pole often too.

Gardner did lead all 60 laps he seem to be in a different league.Levi came from 20th and was going for 4th on last lap ended up losing couple spots and Hines came from 24th to 10th Heats had good action.Seems like whoever starts on the front row on the wing shows and gets to the first turn most likely wins the heat races.Need to somehow unhook these cars they are so fast thru the corners that passing is a thing of the past. Not sure what the answer is on how to do this any suggestion's.

AGREE. That would be a start.Make it promotor option like it use to be wing or no-wing. If the money was there would most wing boys take the lid off.Not sure if many would run full time without the wings.
