i don't know what dude fan's gripe is. most of the other cars that have sent out the '10 paint scheme all look the same to me. same boring swoops and tribal graphics. like 'em or not, kkr has always had original looking cars. i think the ferkel 0 looks more like a racy sprint car than most of the "yak clone" cars out there. if you ask me, and i know that no one did, frosty can paint a car better than any of the sticker jobs going today anyway.

I think there are alot uglier cars out there than these 2. Kemenah's car comes to mind.

Both the new KKR cars are ugly, so are both of their haulers.

The paint jobs on the cars doesn't bother me any, but, those hoods are absolutely hideous.

Kemenahs car was awesome when he was with hard eights! Probably one of the coolest cars I have ever seen. I think a lot of people have these huge expectations for kkr's cars because he is Kasey Kahne. Last time I checked the topic on this discussion said 2010 schemes so why would we not talk about the way everyones cars look....

I would like to know how you define "racy" because there is nothing to Ferkel's design. I'm not saying he has to go out and make an awesome design, i'm glad Rick Ferkel keeps that car running. Are you mentioned Ferkels car because it has stayed that same way for years while most other teams do new designs? I remember seeing the 1/64 scale diecast of the #0 car when Ferkel drove it himself and the design hasn't changed.

I'm mentioning Darrah because like someone else posted, it's KKR and you come to expect something big. They (KKR) along with TSR are the two most financial set teams out on tour and TSR has done alot more with there scheme this year. I guess Kasey wasn't into a flashy design this year and it caught nearly all of us by surprise.

Kasey doesn't care what the car looks like, as long as it's clean when it shows up to the track and has a checkered flag infront of it at the end of the night. wink

On another note, I really liked Dale Blaney's car. It is plain, but i think that it looks good, it stands out to me. Does anyone know if the plain jane 12 car was Jared Ridge? I believe he is running for RoY against Cap Henry. His car wasn't too appealing to me. Looks like he may need to get some color on there after the Florida trip. Last but not least, what the heck is the big deal about talking about paint schemes? (Refering to the last reply) This is one of my favorite parts of the winternationals, seeing all the new cars for the first time. Get real dude.

KKR's stuff is certainly not what it should be. They used to be sharp but black wheels, goofy hoods and now bad paint schemes, it aint lookin good.

Jared Ridge's car looked very similar last year, but with grinning shark's teeth on the hood. Brought back memories of Bobby Allen.

Does it really matter what the car or cars look like?! Its how it runs is the important thing! Its about the go and not the show as Danny Smith once put it! Yea the show is nice but if it doesnt go fast who cares and actually if someone has a sweet looking car and it runs like crap they would probably get criticized more for having a nice stand out car that doesnt do much but look good! Plus finally dont they all look good in victory lane with the big check and trophy?!

I happen to like the cars - very clean looking. They will stand out by being different than everyone else's - a lot of the cars are just too busy. I like that the team cars of Darrah & Sweet use the same design. Saldana's car should have matched, too - just do a flip of the design on Sweet's car. Mostly red, with a white tank - would have looked like Junior Johnson's cars from the mid 80's. Isn't the Bud can mostly white, too, not all red?

When i first saw jared ridge car i thought for sure that either bobby allen was back or that the car was build by bobby allen. Alot of memories there!

Kahne's cup car is a plain red car the same design as last year but a Ford now. He is running a mostly white Olympics scheme this year though.

Someone mentioned Kasey not wanting a flashy design this year. That could be true or it could be Budweiser not allowing him to run something flashy. Look at their schemes since they got bought out. Kahnes car is pretty basic and Bernstein's dragster was too. I think its Inbev dictating most of it.

No blue Mopar decals hurt too. Only a blue oval would look better.

Most drivers and car owners have too much respect for the sport they love than to read most the garbage on these threads.
