You would have a difficult time getting Bill W. to say anything bad or negative about anyone. He has far too much class and rises above the crap that some of us unfortunately get involved in. If he wasn't so honest, dedicated and straight forward he might someday make a good politician. I can honestly say that he would be a good fit one day to run Knoxville Raceway, Take It Easy....

"First and foremost we have a commitment to our patrons, track sponsors and owners to provide them with entertaining racing at our venue..."

How are they going to do this? "...and the best way we can do that at this time of the year is to run a number of major shows..."

Admission: $27 AUD ($24 USD)

Oppfan - If you agree with their formula for success and providing entertaining racing, I'd think you'd be even more appreciative of Knoxville. K'ville has special shows in spades with admission for nearly every event for the year (except 2 WOO & Nats) between $15 and $25.

Take a chill pill Mr W. ...... You are one person .... in the Posse ... we have many ...

Darrah has the 'Power of the Posse' (or PotP) that waged a very effective blitz to get the 'Kid' into the Kahne ride.

I wasn't dissing you ...Hockett, the Darrah kid or the Posse .... just an observation from near I-80.

I will send you my thoughts for your pre-approval before posting from now on.

You are arguing that Outlaw teams choose their drivers based on what gets said on the Internet? Even for this board, that is quite a stretch.

I would personally like to thank Cody for his help in making these last minute plans possible. Cody called again today to wish me luck and to thank me for doing this on short notice. You all can think what you want but he does feel bad about the situation and is trying to make it as right as he can without being there.I'm not saying what he did was right but he did do everything he could to make sure the seat was filled for the fans. Thanks to all who wished me luck I will gas it up!! Oh yeah I will not argue with anyone on any message board so just save it unless you have something good to say thanks Jesse

Compared to other sports, that is cheap $23 is norm for a Club meeting

Jesse Hockett is a great driver and a real gasser. He is one of the most versatile sprint car drivers in America if you look at his resume. He wins in wing or nonwing cars. I doubt if there is a racer with anymore desire and passion than Jesse Hockett. I'm surprised that he has not caught the eye of the Nascar or Indy owners. He deserves his shot as much as anybody. He has had some impressive runs this year. The IRA race at 34 Raceway in West Burlington, Iowa in May was one of them. The IRA 410 guys are very competitive and some of the Knoxville guys were there too. The Rocket spun or got caught up in a yellow, went to the tail and drove the wheels off the car to place 2nd behind Johnny Herrera. He was worth the price of admission that night. Schedules and things change. Give Cody a break. He is going to be a good one too. Good luck Jesse.

I'm happy the sprint car fans down under will not be short-changed on this swap. A good deal for all, but I'm hoping an Aussie driver (or NZ) will pick up most of the money in the next two weeks. Maybe Robbie Farr or Max Dumesny, not sure of Tatnell's schedule but him too for sure. I have had a very warm and soft spot in my heart and mind since formr PM John Howard gave that speech a year ago or so, in which he said "radicals" were not wanted in his country---I'll stop at the word radicals. Very damned few leaders in the world dare call out this certain group. Heck, the world doesn't even dare print funny cartoons about these radicals. Sorry Donny Schatz but going for the someone else this winter, but represent North Dakota well.

Adding $6 trillion of debt in his 1st term and now if
elected again he wouldn't have to worry about an
electorate in 2016 so the sky is the limit. And his EPA
would continue to put the screws to oil drilling and
mining for coal. Can you say bankruptcy.

My opinion is that Cody Darrah and family made a wise decision to focus fully on the rare opportunity offered by KKR.

I am also quite sure that Jesse Hockett will do an admirable job in his place and will come away with legions of new Aussie fans. They are gonna love Jesse's stand on the gas, live on the edge driving style "down under".

One suggestion for team USA, challenge them boys down there to take the wings off one night and battle it out slideways!

Dave

"Aussies can stop crying", say what, a foul is a foul, you ever heard of the movie "The Ugly American" starring Marlon (my son never killed that girl) Brando. Thought he was dead.

No big deal, I was just asking where/who Cody's "P.R. Machine" is? I hang out at all the major outlets including the Grove message board and usually spend some time in PA each year, just wondering...and I'm sure the "PA Blitz" from the "Power of the Posse" is why Kasey reached his conclusion! I'm just surprised that "PoP" didn't land someone in a Stewart ride. LOL

FYI, I've had several conversations with Cody and find him to be a great young man. Let's remember he is only 20, and not perfect. I have a 20 year old living under my roof, so I know how it works...everyone needs to give a family who does much for our sport a break...

Cody is a great young man. I think the referance is probably more toward the shrewd business man Joe is in placing Cody at the right events with proper support and bringing on temporary sponsors for certain events. I call that smart. Cody has a real charismatic appeal and perfect for attracting major sponsors and throngs of fans. The fact that he is young and a good driver adds to Kasey also being a shrewd business man. All the pieces fell in the right place for Cody with a huge help from his father and I wish them all the best. When this kid hits the tour you will see excitement from the younger generation and that is a good thing.

Sometimes you guys are too modest,(usually doesn't last) its a win win for everyone.

Australia gets a complete racer, Cody gets to be pampered, and you get to audition a little.

I guess thats a win, win, win

Oh and I hope you have no "bad luck"!
