I think I'll throw my two cents in as well.

I've been to darn near every type of race this planet has to offer. I loved all of em.

So the car count was down. You didn't see much passing. They ran too many hotlap sessions.

Many track operaters have talked promoters into getting the cars on the track as much as possible for the only reason that they want the fans to see that much hyped type of car run. I personally saw it done at a track in Florida when vivisting a freind that runs with the TBARA.

As for the racing on dirt being better,I'd have to say that's all opinion. Ever work on these cars? I can tell you that I have. It sure is nice not to have to scrape mud, much-less, have it falling in your face while working on the car in the pits. And if you've never been to a TBARA event your missing a hell of a show.

Bottom line, enjoy it while you can. Life is so short.

Oh, I have to agree with cheese and 12 about Lanny. The latest thing with the radios is probably gonna kill some car counts at least for a while. The head rule change was a bad one too. Although it's probably a good change,it came at the wrong time.
