WFO81 you are such and idiot. I know who you are and you are a huge idiot. Don't have a clue what you are talking about.

FYI I may be wrong but looking at results it looks to me like mccarl has raced his way into every show so far, and not had to take a provisional. I think that says something for the guy. Joey has, SK has missed a show, Donny has, Lasoski has, Pittman has, Brooke has Jac has. I think that is goddamn good!!!

Um. Saldana hasn't used a provisional yet. He had to go through the b-main twice, but he raced his way in all 7 races. Also Lasoski and Tatnell haven't used any provisionals yet either.

even tho i'm not a points racer as some idiots now require to comment here.. i can recognize the fevered drama unfolding, the usual suspects are dispatched for damage control so draw your own conclusions.

it will be entertaining to watch the scenario that JanetH has just laid out and witness the thinning of the herd over the next 3 months.

probations / provisionals / plantation races vs. the interlopers / "frustration of owners, wives and drivers" as coined by TMac...a complete soap opera is in the making.

to keep it interesting, maybe we need a PICK 5 for the first to fold?

or maybe a prediction of suggested venues for the soft landings!

You are all funny, he has struck a nerve with you guys. Love him or hate him you can't stop thinking about him so he must be doing something right, your just making him more famous. I bet he loves this. Seems like WFO is jealous or 12 years old. What do you do for a living? I bet you would rather be a WoO driver, even a middle of the road one. BEAR 1842 I bet you don't win any mains this year. WFO81 you talk about class, how low class is it to start a post like this? Pretty low. Fish, it's o.k. for all of us to speak our minds, but the difference is, tmac does not hide behind a fake name like you and everyone on this board does.

The original post that started this did show a lot of class itself. It is also clear it is the action of a full grown, responsible adult that is also a hypocrite. It's clear you're a McCarl hater and that's fine. Just a question though, how much class does Joey's crew have by coming and grabbing or roughing up a guy while he's strapped in a race car? Have you ever been in a fight or been severly wronged, ie; bad relationship, property stolen or vandalized, passed up for promotion? I bet you got over that in 5 minutes and never had another bad thing to say. My point being, these guys are all human. We've ALL said things that have been a mistake or have come back to haunt us. this is one of those deals. Give this a couple months and i bet Terry will have Joey come to the Front row Challenge and have a laugh about it.

Let me reflect back on my original post. OK. I dont believe I mentioned Saldana or his crew. Were not talking about stolen property, bad relationship or promotions. It's about racing isn't it? It's about all these McCarl lovers who because he won local track champioships he's some great sprint car driver. Gene Lasker has a track championship. Randy Hannigan has one also. To me there all in the same boat. One more thing, if everyone got along and agreed with each other thoughts this board would be a ghost town. This is like sports talk radio, it feeds off negativity.

Kinda like eBay, anyone who joins within the past 30 days has ZERO credibility.

But then again, if "veteran" posters would simply ignore these attention getter type posts to get a rise out of people, they go away.

What the hell did I click on this again for....?

Yes, It's "refreshing" to the sport when a driver speaks his mind. But god forbid anyone speaking his mind if he's never been behind the wheel of a sprint car.

not sure if i agree with other things you say............but I semi-agree with that. This notion that unless you are a SC driver you should "shut up" really shows the intelligence (or lack thereof) and sensitivity (an abundance) and is designed to belittle the opinion holder. I guess trying to point out such a trivial and obvious detail really makes certain people have a better day. Personally, I hope they spill their coffee on their new shoes. wink

TO RSDIRT

I hide behind a fake name? Jim Fisher is my name. Sorry, thought most people knew who I was or I would have posted my name at the end.

And what in the world are you doing? Some people on here like to dig into people's past posts. What would they find if they dig into yours? You suddenly appear on the scene with your post "Did the 9 car get fined? I heard they did, is that true?" Then another appearance to tell John Katich what you thought of him and his ideas on the subject. Now back again to dish out more and tell someone they are an idiot.

That's what "strikes a nerve" with me.

Thats some good detective work there. Dont foget the most important one. I'm also right. McCarl = average. I'll be here all year folks giving you my opinion on how average he is. Remeber this was the same cat that said he had the fastest car on the track and was quite excited to finish 1st loser. Should worry about the person who has a few post or the person that has hundreds of post.

Just a mid-thread trivia recap. Not really much of a detective. Either old age or using too much viagra is screwing up my eyesight.

It wasn't too many years back and Terry was leading the country in wins, hardly average. He has more than once won in a dozen different States in a single year, while winning a local track championship at Knoxville, hardly average. Terry is anything but average this year in a group of about 30 where there are plenty that may fit in that category. He's a winner, who has done it his way for a long time now, he's upfront and looks you in the eye when he tells you what he thinks. As a result people play the jealous card more often that they should and Terry could care less, c'est la vie. Take It Easy....

Don't forget, McCarl was also a Hosehead "Hoser of the Year" for his behind the scenes work in making Hoseheads and Sprint Car racing the best that it can be.

Look I'm not saying he hasn't won races. Going up against lessor talent he seems to do well. Against equal or better talent he doesn't. Thats my arguement. Brent Keading is the same way. Out in california against the locals he's one of the best. Put him up against the best he's lucky to sniff a top 5 finish. Some people might say thats an accomplishment and that would be their opinion.

WFO81 I am not siding with you, but about a year ago I commented that McCarl was an average WoO driver based on other WoO drivers, wins, earnings , and points. Quite a few people lost their minds and called me a hater. Terry seems to have some Jones-town followers that drink the Kool-Aid and think he is the Messiah. While Terry will never be on my favorites list, I have always acknowledged his local accomplishments and see him on the same level as other regional stars like Brent Kaeding, Fred Rahmer, etc... Unfortunately the only opinion people ever agree on is usually their own.

Dang, winning in a dozen different States in a year is now a local accomplishment, amazing. Winning in a half dozen different travelling Series in a year isn't what it used to be I guess. He is also the only guy in the top ten that OWNS (with Lori) his own team, he has slightly more at stake than the hired guns he competes against. But what the hey, if you're anti-McCarl I ain't gonna change it, jealousy plays a big part methinks and Terry could care less about those types. Take It Easy....

Cherry picking, lol, like staying on the porch all the time? His breakout years where in the 410 days and then he had some success with a great 360 team. He did his winning as an owner, not a hired shoe, something RARELY seen in your area. Other than the Donald I can't think of another driver to do any consistant winning on his own in fantasy, err, Posseland, that tells me plenty. Take It Easy....
