Uncle A I always thought that we all were friends. Joe Sr. had given us some used tires and I always appreciated that and I usually was in the pits early so I always saved you all a spot. After the races that night I was really pissed while we were loading what was left of our car. I asked Joe Jr. if Cody was in the way and he said that he had broke the brake rotor and for me to come over and look at it. I didn't need to because I believed him and could live with that. The thing I didn't like is why didn't Joe Jr. come over to us and ask if Cody was OK and explain what had happened. Don't you think if the tables had been turned, Cody and I both would have been to you alls trailer and explained what had happened and made sure that Joe Jr. was OK and I would have asked if there was anything you needed to load your car. I also didn't like the fact that Joe Jr. finished the race with no brakes and could have taken out someone else. The night that Brandon Jennings blew his motor which was no fault of his and we didn't have anyplace to go but over Brandon's tire, he came down to the trailer and apologized to Cody and asked us if there was anything we needed to load our car. Even his girlfriend came down and appologized. That sure did make me think alot of Brandon and what a class act he is. We couldn't buy any luck either. Anyway I am done with this and won't say another word as it won't bring back our car. I do know that we gave Sprint car racing our best shot and now we are off to do some sport mod racing

It's my first post but I had to finally express an opinion here. First, this thread went way off the oriiginal subject and turned into a rant.At some point "track rage" needs to stop. All drivers, owners & parents should know that when you decide to race, you're going to turn over, hit the wall, lose races, rub against other cars, maybe catch on fireand may be win(if you're lucky). You'll hit people sometimes and sometimes they'll hit you and most times it's a racing deal. Parents should let their driver son or daughter do their own talking instead of holding a grudge and ranting on a closed subject. didn't the50 car come to the track early in the year with a for sale sign on the car? if so, it's not like you were really intending to stay in the class but you've decided to dwell on the wreck and blame that for your departure from the sprint class. things happen to everyone .many people have replied but many more sit silently reading and may think you've just made yourself look way out there. you may want to look at your attitude because it may be that your attitute caused your bad luck rather than your bad luck affecting your attitude.Who you made look good is Cody as a driver staying silent while someone who should be his role model holds a grudge and kept ranting.

in effort not to rant (guess we dont want to share our thoughts in their entirety now do we) - I'll just say your 180 off on Sprint50. he aint the type to sit and let emotions get out of hand - whether present or later on. he shared some thoughts he had every right to have and share. he aint no crazy rantin dude settin a bad example. i understand why you say those things dirt poor ------ but you go get to know him so as to enlighten yourself. i dont mean that disrespectfully - but seriously. the Whitworth's are ALL standup folks. they were bummed about that wreck like they were in any of the others. and even still just lookin to have a good time racin both father and son - and maybe shake the luck and do good along the way. i can see how it looks to some -------- but to insinuate that he isnt livin up to some certain obligations is pretty shitty. that dude takes care of his in every way. the only thing with the crash was it wasn't them gettin out on their own terms. understandable - or at least should be. but no one can help where one's sentiments lie. he aint living down shit by giving a piece of his mind. he's got every right to. but you wouldn't f-n think by reading this entire thread now would ya?
ya know screw it - I dont need to highlight every detail of where that opinion is wrong. It's been a pleasure knowing them - and will continue to be. maybe someday you could to - so you could see where exactly thats not correct. I admit you spoke your opinion awfully well - well enough that for me to prove it wrong - it would me be giving a long response by even my standards (which most here fear or at least would never entirely read lol) - and if so many want to continue to be misguided - the hell with it - for who I am and what I am it's just not my place to go into personal stuff of someone else's. the fact that already happened wouldn't justify me doing it as well. I'll just say that I KNOW it's wrong. anyone who knows Sprint50 personally knows it's wrong too -------- and in the end it's about all that matters.
