To me it wasn't just that he didn't want me to take a picture of his car. Which like I said was strange, it was that and the fact that he was a butt about it. I mean that car doesn't even look all that good. And it was only the one crew guy that was that way. No one from the track said that I could not take pics.
After the heat races I thought about going down and asking if he needed to look at the other pictures I took as he could barely keep up with the rest of the cars. But since I really didn't have bail money with me or anyone to get me out of jail I decide to keep my mouth shut.

To be honest, I've had drivers and crew chiefs ask me for certain shots so they could see how a set up is working.......but never had anyone tell me not to take a picture of there car because of that. Anymore, when I'm at a track, there are 10 to 20 or more people with cameras, wether they are digital/film or camcorders, and that's not counting all the ones in the stands or the ones usuing cell phones to take pictures with. Years ago, only the photographers for that track were allowed to shoot pictures, now just about anyone can buy pit pass and shoot. I do wish we had alittle more say in who gets to the infield and who doesn't..

I was looking through the June 2008 issue of "Sprint car & Midget Magazine a good friend gave me just the other day.
Noticed something rather ironic on the Table Of Contents Page.
An ASCS Sprint car,up on 2 wheels,Bicycling,more like teeter-tottering through a turn@ Cowtown Speedway.
It was #45K.
Looked at the Photo Credits at the bottom of the page,low & behold it's Kolt Walker.............
