Ike's Chili is a tradition for me, at least twice during the week for a three way.

Scared to ask what a 3 way is. LOL

Yea, thats always good. Lots of small time racers with different cars & time to BS. For example, talking to a guy with his production V-6 based car. Not "cookie cutter", low budget, didn't do much at the CB but might be competitive at his local track... who knows? But I bet he's having fun!

It's already been mentioned but BurnCo BBQ is a must. Get there early for lunch. They estimate their sales and cook a limited amount of meat in anticipation of how much they will sell and when it's sold out that's it.
I would also strongly suggest doing the Zink Ranch trip. On Wednesday morning of Chili Bowl week they have bus's lined up in front of the main entrance of the Expo Center and they bus you out to the ranch. They feed you what I consider a very, very good lunch consisting mainly of spaghetti (I don't know why but I love the spaghetti they serve out there) and after the meal they show a video that shows some highlights of how the Zink family made their fortune, their involvement in racing over the years and how the ranch came to become a great asset for young people and the entire community. There are several of the Zink family racecars in a small museum in the main building of the ranch. I believe there is an Indy Car Roadster that you can set in and have your picture taken. Every time we've done the Zink Ranch deal Emmett Hahn speaks to the crowd and does a question and answer period. The real good news is this whole deal is 100% free. They charge nothing for the bus ride out to the ranch, the spaghetti lunch and the time you can spend in the small museum. If you go to the Chili Bowl don't miss it!
There used to be a place called Cloud 9 on Yale near the Broken Arrow Expressway where you could kill a little time and get rid of some of the dollar bills that possibly was burning a hole in your pocket but sadly they closed that place down a few years ago after it had been a Chili Bowl must see for 20 years. LOL!
Have fun. The Chili Bowl is a true bucket list event. The racing is generally second to none all 6 nights!!
