Am I correct recalling others mention sweet doesnt usually do real good at WG?
I'm not trashing the guy, but I recall some conversation about one track that he hasnt conquered, was it WG?
I'm tempted to hashtag #napaKNEWhow with his recent blah performances, disregarding the the win handed to him Wed.
OK, maybe I'm trashing just a bit, but if it's cool to boo its gotta be cool to light fun him a bit...

Sweet getting a top 10 at WG or anywhere in PA is almost like a win for him. He's stated the track just does not suit his driving style but he keeps trying to figure out ways to get better.
Of course even though he's been blah in the past few performances, he's still 60pts ahead which is around the same amount after Bristol I believe so the past 3wks have not been especially stand out weeks for Gravel, Macedo, and the rest. Seems like all have 3 good performances then a few bad. Difference is the wins.
Sweet would probably take the trash talk pretty well. He seems like someone who does not let things like that bother him and cares about the sport overall. He's one of the more fan friendly guys as especially with the kids. I just read an article about an asphalt late model driver who has been doing well and he's getting booed for winning & I believe he said he had been waiting his whole life to be booed because that usually means you're winning a lot in racing

"Anywhere in Pa" is a stretch. He's won at port before and led laps at the Tuscarora 50 that the WoO sanctioned a couple of years back. But he definitely struggles at the Grove and until he overcomes that, it'll be like it was for the Dude when he couldn't win at Eldora.

A car that runs very good at start of race then it starts to fade at end is the chassis setup. It is not the engine. Things like yellow and red flags enter into it also when you lose a big lead.

Could also be tires.
