Yes it was cold this weekend but in two weeks you never know.
The three names I missed this weekend were Tyler Courtney he races with USAC ,Tim Schaffer dont think he ran anywhere and Sammy Swindell (think it might be the end of the line).
58 CARS WAS GREAT what they should do in the future is insteads of a useless qualifier race at the start have a (non qualifirers raceatat the end to help thin out the crowd. and give a littel back to te guys that ran two nights for tow money.

So we're moving the race from it's traditional weekend for Tyler Courtney and 2 guys who wouldn't have been there anyway. Super.

Actually Sammy was scheduled to be there but they tore up the 39 at Eldora so that's one of the reasons why they didn't come.

That was just the three that i named right off the top of my head ,Flick and Lynch at Lernerville would be welcome add ons.
Cap Henry and Duncan in Ohio could compete i beleive this is the first National Shaffer has missed in a long time and with Sammy winless this year along with Danny Smith i am fearing this might be it.

Shaffer hasn't been running all that great in sprint cars this year. He has a crate late model ride in western pa now
