This reminded me alot of the Fred Rahmer - Lucas Wolfe accident years ago.  If memory serves me correct, Rahmer got suspnded work a week from the Grove for this move.

My guess is that they don't allow anybody to be in that area during green flag conditions anymore. That wreck was a split second from being a big tragedy.

Yeah, it seemed very much like the deal at the grove. I'll be a Rahmer family fan forever ( they really are the nicest people) but Fred really was a dick that night. There were times at some tracks I just got up and left after he pulled shit like that.

It was similar, but not quite the same.  The Rahmer/Wolfe incident seemed like it took an eternity to unfold.  I could've left my seat, taken a leak, and grabbed a beer in the time it took the entire incident to unfold.  The Esh/Gee incident seemed to be a split second deal.  JMO
