He ran the Forbrook 5 for a few races to little success at Knoxville this year.

I won't believe it until someone who knows something I don't know makes his big reveal here on HH.

I revealed yesterday, although I still want to hear Sprinter44's story of why Ian got let go/fired.

Gio isn't focusing solely on sprint cars this year. He's got a ride in the ARCA K&N West series. The deal with Forbrook is only part time, so I don't see him staying in the KCP ride full time either. Probably just a fill in for tonight or maybe through the weekend.

Sprinter44 stirred the pot for the credulous crowd then deleted his post.

Guilty. Shouldnt have said anything to start with. Its easy to get caught up in the "first to press" game and not realize how it affects people. I was asked to take it down and did. Best of luck to both parties, people make mistakes.

Just want to say that you are a gentleman and a scholar. After taking a bunch of heat for your post, you manned up and took the high road. Not many on here would do that. Just thought it should be recognized.

So I am guessing no more Gio in the Forbrook car? Especially since he is coming to Knoxville in the 18 this Saturday.

Jeremy Elliot reported last night that Gio has signed on with the KCP team for the remainder of the year and he will split time with KCP and his pavement deal. Is that official enough?

Ummm......what the hell are you trying to say? Both will be ok. One is just hella young and was the YOUNGEST winner on WOO at the Grove while the other has wins at other tracks. I think it could work out for both over all......change is not bad IMO.
Where's my beer or scotch on the rocks? God-damn it! 40
plus years of dirt track racing in these old veins might
get me condemned by the EPA.

Couldn't agree more @kustomincorp Ian had a hell of run at Knoxville Saturday night especially for the first time in the car.
