It was a good race, not nearly as good as Thursday. You seem to prefer a high speed parade over a highly competitive race on a dry slick track, like I sajd to each their own.
|
Last night was far from a parade in the feature. You better get your eyes examined! First Larson complimented the port on how good the track was last night towards the other two nights he raced there and now Flick. Look at what he wrote.
Thank you @razorsteve11 for bringing some speed and maneuverability back to The Speed Palace. Best track we've had all year.
The bite also may have helped us figure out where some of our early night speed has gone. So we will fo some research and see if we can fix that.
I guess the drivers like it where they can get a bite. Not sliping and sliding all night long and is NOT sprint car racing. It is also more exciting for the fans.....
Let's go Sprint Car Racing!

Cheroger your reply is a result of what this whole planned-demic was designed to do. Big govt has positioned itself to rule your world and needed something to scare the masses into obedience.
I personally would be more afraid of getting a venereal disease from a race track washroom than the covid from a racetrack patron. Breathing dust resulting in a possible lung infection has been a reality since the 2nd car was built and very few cared and no govt used it to control anyone. Those who cared wore a mask or goggles, those who didnt, didnt and those who forgot to plan ahead watched the race in joy and went home careless of the possible impending health concerns.. Nobody hated their neighbor or local race team for what may happen to their length of life. Your valuable American Freedoms are on the chopping block and July 5th should be one of the last days anyone in your country should ignore that.
To keep it racy, I'm glad Port was so good even Strawser humbled himself and did the right thing.

Dammit, we were all doing a good job of keeping politics off HH until this ridiculous, paranoid comment
You think people are dying ALL OVER the world to "scare the masses into obedience"???

That was sprint car racing tonight. Like Kyle said he finally had grip on the track. That is because they had H20 in the track. Double thumbs up on the surface tonight!!

Yeah, the truth is sometimes hard to swallow. I havn't seen anyone charge off the corners at anytime during the last few years and shoot down to the low side and diamond the corners the way Kyle did Saturday. Getting off the corner so low that he almost hit the inside jersey barrier. Great racing all the way around. That means the track was perfect for the feature!
Did anyone watch the feature from Fremont last night. I watched the highlights. I almost fell asleep in the 3 plus minute highlight video......very boring and slow it was way too slick and dry and that equals very boring sprint car racing. Let the drivers get a grip in the feature.

No Kyle at Fremont... anyone know if he's doing other Ohio SW races?

Hey, I'm the first one to tell Strawser to shove his Port opinion where the sun don't shine but I gotta give him kudos on his post. He had the nuts enough to man up and compliment Port on their track surface and the racing. That says something. Alot of times haters will hate no matter what but he actually said something nice. Now, I do wonder if that run in with Razor Steve may have happened and that lead to his positive comments, lol.

Kyle indicated in an interview after the race at Port that he wasn't going to Fremont because the team needed a break. I think he will be at Wayne Co tonight and I'm thinking he'll hit the majority or all of the remaining races in Ohio.

Exactly! I think it's more like the right wing conspiracy theorists are dumbing the masses into idiocy.

I don't hate Port. They have a really great facility. I don't like the way razor Steve prepares the track. Although like I said Saturday night was awesome!!
No run in with Razor Steve. If he keeps the track like Saturday.....I may have to go over instead of watching online.......time will tell.

Nope, just know a good prepared race track when I see it. That is the best prepared track port has had in years without the help of mother nature.
|
I was kidding, Colonel.
In Days of Thunder at the Charlotte test scene, Harry won't let Cole drive Rowdy's car because "I know a damn race driver when I see one." That's what I was alluding to.
It was a poor attempt at humor on my behalf. I'll take the L. Haha.
Alas.
