It is people like this, with their head so far up their anal ducts, that will keep this thing around.  They just sit around in their circle jerk, thinking of ways the democrats are ruing their life.  I guess it takes all kinds of people to make the world go around.

While there seem to be some jabs still flying back and forth, it appears both sides in our goverment are on the same page----at least in principle.  I would think this would be a good time to end the political outcry, but it has not yet.

The state I live in, Ohio, seems to be one of the more aggressive in trying to keep ahead of this by closing schools and banning large public gatherings BEFORE the number of infected here started to rise in the past couple of days.  The man leading the charge, our governor Mike DeWine, is a Republican.  Tell us again how the Democrats are blowing this out of proportion?

As I listened to Gov DeWine and his team over several news conferences this weekend, I realized I didn't even know if was Dem or Repub - and I thought to myself "it doesn't matter". I agree, he and his team seem to be out in front (as much as possible anyway) of this, and I think they are doing a great job.

He gets reports of packed bars/clubs Fri and Sat night - he shuts them down Sunday.

That's leadership.

I don't understand how people think politics is involved with the pandemic.  Even Donald Trump , who is a believer in "fake news " conspiracy theories, does not claim this to be fake news.  And the leading scientists ( both in the U.S. and internationally ) are not politicians / elected officials.  The sooner everyone complies with the requests and the rules, the sooner life will return to normal, including sports  events.
