Looks like you left out wingless cars, right?
How bout them?
|
As sprintfanatic said, they are on my website, but since you asked...
The list of tracks that run wingless sprints is much smaller, and mainly in Indiana...
- Bloomington,IN
- Gas City,IN
- Kokomo,IN
- Lawrenceburg,IN
- Lincoln Park,IN
- Paragon,IN
- Valley,MO (only runs wingless sprints on a bi-weekly basis...this year, more than in the past 2, most of the shows are WAR sanctioned)
Other tracks that run them, but I would not consider them weekly...
- Perris,CA - runs many USAC/CRA shows
- Terre Haute,IN - runs some MSCS & USAC shows
- Tri-State,IN - runs many MSCS & USAC shows
- Twin Cities,IN - has been running 5-6 shows a year
You can see a breakdown of 410 wingless races per track at this page... 2019 races per track

Wish the owner would sell it for a reasonable price to someone. I think the Hammers tried to promote it for a couple years, and had some good shows. Same issue though, why put money into a place if the owner isn't going to do anything. A lot of work by them & volunteers to fix it up when they did. I think Helms tried to promote it after Hammer but I think there was a little drama that happened & the races were moved from Millstream to Waynesfield & Atomic.

Farmington has announced that they have a new promoter. This was posted on the St. Francois County Raceway Facebook page an hour ago:
Most people have already seen, shared, or heard about the post saying St. Francois County Raceway will be running for the 2020 season. With all of that said we would like to announce Danny and Brenda Resinger will be your new promoters. We are hoping to have the racing schedule and classes released next week. Right now we are looking at play day being March 28th and opening day being April 4th. If that changes we will let you know immediately. We will be updating contact information for everyone along with any other information as it becomes available. We appreciate all of the support we have been given so far and look forward to a great year! We would like to thank Brian and Amy Blair for all that they have done the last several years and wish them good luck on whatever their future may hold!
