Hey Bucky I heard through The grapevine That You Are Going sprint car racing? Is this true? And Is it 2 barrel Or Super Srint?

Yep, it's a fact. I'll be in the 2bbl class next year. My thoughts are to run the champ at SFS and the mod at BMS. But if things go well enough, I may try to run both at SFS and just the mod at Brill. Aside from repainting the tailtank and getting number and the sponsors on the car, the sprint is ready to go.

The modified is being updated to current standards (it's an '03) and then will just need the new body put on. At this point, I'm 5 months ahead of where I was last year with just one car to be race ready. It kinda sucks, I don't have much to tinker with over the off season.

Yes, when I was a kid we lived in Everett. And then later on then I got out of the service I lived in Anacortes and Mt. Vernon. Skagit is where I got my first taste of dirt and sprint cars when the newly formed World of Outlaws came to town. Later on it's where I turned my first laps racing in the late model division. A couple years later, I tried my luck in the Wash State Econo Sprints, but had soon run out of money and had to quit. Jason Solwald and I were both sprint rookies that year. Kasey Kane was 10 or 11 at the time........ LOL

Cool!! I crewed for Randy Ridge a few years back on his 410 car. That's one damn fast track. Lots of good memories there.

We should hook up some time and talk about the 'ole place. I don't think I know who you are though.

Bucky65c

You from the WA area? Cause you mentioned Skagit.

Here's a pic of me hot lapping thru turn 4 back in '91. When I was there, Dave Lemley was promotor before he had his anyurism, and the guys in 410's were Ridge, Bobby Burrow, Marc Huson, Tim Levine, and you can't forget Shawna Wilskey. Shawna has taken more crap than Michelle Decker ever has. People need to lighten up on the ladies! Oh yeah, I was there the night Ridge tangled with another car on the front stretch and ended going over the turn one fence! I was also there when a sprint flipped into the flag stand and damn near killed the flagmen.
