Oh c'mon, really?

Yes, the August 2017 show ran long, but that was because, in large part, of the unexpected high car count (60+ 410s alone, 4 full sprint features, etc). Like any successful business would, I'm sure they sat down afterwards and worked through their lesson learned. This is the same promoter who has managed to put a successful dirt show on for the past two winters in a large indoor stadium. How easy do you think that is?

Be glad we have someone like him to step up and take on a massive undertaking of converting an asphalt track and turning it in to one of the top 3 dirt tacks in the country (imo - haven't seen the updated Port Royal yet). I hope this race is a huge success for him, as we all beneifit from a successful dirt track that puts on shows like this.

Man, people will bitch about anything, and then bitch because there are no dirt tracks when they disappear.

This man would know !!

Cody Sommer was right, people want to focus on that one race last year that had a large car count, during an interview... Welcome to the Internet Cody...

Colder tonight then last night or this morning. Would have hoped they would give up some bullcrap like pre cerimonies driver intros etc. Great for TV but for those who paid to see live not so great. Hate that a show drags just to televise. Too cold for all the BS just race and get the show over in a reasonable amount of time. That will make folks want to come back next year.
