I also have to wonder if Stenhouse knows that former RoushYates Fords of Richards, Bloomquist, Dover etc currently humiliate all comers in their respective dirt series.

And of course those guys are all 410 sprint car drivers right????

I just hope they remember Joey is only a title contender with something other than a chev under the hood.
|
Seems like I do remember Joey winning over 20 races one year while he was still at KKR. I don't remember what engine they were running then, but don't remember it being Ford. Was it a Mopar??? Either way, I think he would have won the same amount of races with a variety of engines. You're obviously happy thinking that though, so knock yourself out...

What does the firing order of whatever aluminum engine that's in the car have to do with winning races? I'm no engine guru, but I do know the only thing Chevy about a Chevy is the firing order. Help me understand how a different firing order makes the difference.

Are you kidding? It makes all the difference in the world. Just waiting for one of these WoO drivers to figure out that he needs to switch to a Ford engine and then Schatz reign is over....

In one way it makes sense when you consider Stewart Haas is switching to Fords in NASCAR. However, I think they'd be crazy to change anything they're doing now.

From what I;ve been told regarding Shephard, he's been cleared health wise to race. The bug has always been there, it was just getting a clean bill of health and the blessing to get back out there. I know there was an offer made through a smaller team with some new backing to run a few races next year, however he turned it down. No because health, but that he though it would take a few races to get back up to speed and comfortable in the newer equipment and if he was going to do it, he wanted to be able to go at it and do well. So that's where Zemco comes into play. As they are able to offer him more seat time to get things going and his relationship with that team has been almost family like.

Is this just a rumor or a solid lead?

Correct. The head style that only Karl Kinser could beat is outlawed. There is one close enough to a chev that is permited however.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

If it was one of the years he was a contender for the title, Mopar.

Do you know that for sure or are you just saying it because if it wasn't a Mopar it blows a hole in your narrative?
