Spot1 when you mention they need to shorten it up you are 100% right. Lots of other people agree with you, including me. I am hearing alot of talk that the idea of putting a small track inside of the 1/2 mile has now been forgotten about. The 1/2 mile will be shortened up to a true 3/8 or maybe just a little bigger when the racing season is over this year. While the races have been pretty good at Jackson this year I believe like alot of other people that this is what it is going to take to make this the best facility in the Midwest like Tod wants it to be. Also someone mentioned about some a-hole employees over there. I agree there are some that need to go. Doug Johnson's phone number is on the bottom of their web page. Give him a call and let him know what is going on so he can correct the problem. Also let him know what you think about shortening the track up on facebook and twitter. Glen Murra

Sounds like all you Knoxville fans can stop sweating Chuck and Badlands, if Ford97's unbiased (lol) observations are all true and honest you guys can stop your Badlands bashing threads. I mean according to everyone from Knoxville Chuck won't last 2 seasons with his "money pit" and lack of knowledge about the complex rocket science of running a freaking dirt track. So why are you guys still bashing a track that has no chance of sucess? What are you scared of?

Right! Biased opinion, Chucks money pit, fu money, Ford97 opinion is like Trump reviewing this week democratic convention. The best part, people are actually giving him credit for a unbiased post.

I really hope shortening the track happens! Awesome facilities now and only gonna get better....if they shorten the track to provide some racing. I have been to 3 races there this year and won't be going back. Hands down racing and facilities are better at Badlands. That being said can't wait for the Nationals!

maybe they'll let him set up a table.....
|
Hell, I'll donate as long as he promises not to come back. I'm sure Chuck will let him set up the table for his imaginary fan club so long as he pays a vendor fee.

So someone gives a review of their experience, that did NOT include the usual I hate Chuck, or Chucks a god, and you callout the ones doing the "bashing"?
|
Wtf are you talking about, I have read 800 posts on here about how much of an idiot Chuck is, and how he knows nothing, and yet it seems that his haters are still worried he may pull it off. I'm not calling anyone out, simply making an observation. I find it all hilarious considering the distance between the tracks but it makes for some fun reading. If Chuck is such an idiot you have nothing to worry about, right?

Nobody may have had more issues with Fordman in this forum than I have as he hates me more than Chuck, however, having said that it is an excellent post and a very fair read. Easily the best effort from him I have ever seen, he should be complimented not attacked over this, hello! To use a phrase that many are all too familiar with and not always believing, I personally think it is FAIR AND BALANCED.....P.S. Vote Trump......

How about the Coles Notes version of your post Rollie, the narrowed down one that still contains your over-all point. You certainly have been to both places enough times over the years...
