With the 15th pick, guess I'll go next and select the Wild Child, Jac Haudenschild out of Ohio.

I'd pay $12 to the 12th pick just so my pick number matched my driver number. 12$ Shane Carson.

Sheehish! I'll at least pick a driver that can get it done TODAY. Although all of these picks were outstanding in their day I don' think they would do so well in their current physical condition. AJ Foyt and Jan Opperman? Really? My pick - Greg Hodnett!

That may be, but please note that my pick of Dave Blaney aboard the Luna 10 included crew-chief Kenny Woodruff. It was a package deal.

If you are referring to the current physical condition of todays drivers as a comparison to Foyt and Opperman in their prime, that's a hoot! Foyt drove endurance races and was one strong, tough s.o.b.....Opperman was a State High School football champion as a QB (i believe QB) and a Golden Glove boxing champion....physical condition?....no power steering andskinny, knobby tires on rough daytime dirt, plus either one could have whipped the snott out of any driver on the tracks today. I think you have it backwards. So Foyt and Opperman? Really? Yeh.....

I believe that they were crudely referring to the fact that Jan has passed away and AJ is getting well along in years.
I am lucky enough to work at one of the best tracks
anywhere.

A photo surfaced of my original pick smoking a gas mask bong and rumors surfaced of accepting appearance money from a promoter. No I didn't make that scenario up. If you watched night one if the draft that really happened.

Well then that eliminates a good number of the drafts so far.....the draft did include drivers from all eras. I would think that the clock would then be turned back for those drivers. If he was indeed referring to the present conditions of the two drivers mentioned, it wasn't just a crude refrence it was a cruel refrence.

I'm gonna have to go with Fred Linder. Out of all the guys that raced for us he was my favorite.

With the 7th pick, Stroker_Race selects Dave Blaney (Once again aboard the Luna #10 and wrenched by Kenny Woodruff)
|
Disqualified for use of unfair, unique, different equipment thats just too cool for most these days unless he would be willing to deflate his tires to just 1 psi to adjust for the advantage.
My pick Ray Tilley, creator and perfecter of the PA posse.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?
