As the Sioux County Youth Fair approaches, Sioux Speedway in Sioux Center, Iowa will once again roar to life for the 6th Annual Ver Hoef Automotive Sprint Car Showdown on Wednesday, July 15. This event will feature the fast JSTS 360 Winged Sprint Cars capable of hitting speeds in excess of 130 miles per hour on the half mile speedway and will kick off the annual JSTS Speedweek tour. Also on hand will be the Sybesma Graphics Stock Cars, Steve Brouwer Trucking B-Modifieds, and Glen's Sport Center Hobby Stocks. Racing will kick off at 7:00 pm and adult tickets will be $17. Kids 9-12 $5, and 8 & Under FREE. Pit passes will be $25. Rules and payouts can be found in the attached flyer or at www.siouxspeedway.net

We hope you can make it Wednesday night.
For those traveling on the tour there are a few lodging opportunities in Sioux Center.
- Holiday Inn Express - Sioux Center
- Econolodge - Sioux Center
- Country Home Motel & Campground - Sioux Center
- Sandy Hollow Campground - Sioux Center
- Children's Park Campground - Sioux Center
Sioux Speedway offers full concessions including Cold Beer - Drink responsibly.
Track is located one mile east of US75 from Hardees/Casey's
Sioux Center is only 57 miles southeast of Sioux Falls, SD; 45 miles north of Sioux City, IA; 60 miles southwest of Worthington, MN; 60 miles west of Spencer, IA; 90 miles southwest of Jackson, MN; 145 miles north of Omaha, NE; and 280 miles northwest of Knoxville, IA
If you stop at a local place of business, tell them why you are in town. We always want the local businesses to know what racing in Sioux Center does for them.
Take notice of the billboards at the track as well as the night and class sponsors and support them if you can. These great businesses support Sioux Speedway for only a few races a year.
The Sioux County Fair Board does a lot of work getting the grandstand and grounds ready - all on a volunteer basis, so thank you to them!
