SIOUX FALLS, SD (June 11, 2007) Can you feel the anticipation building?
It's here! The week that race fans and local sprint car teams have been hearing about and looking forward to since it was announced last February has finally arrived!
1st ANNUAL ASCoT SUPERMAN SERIES
It all begins at the CRAWFORD COUNTY SPEEDWAY in Denison, IA this Saturday June 16th. The huge, fast ½ mile race track will be hosting the first of (4) nights of the best sprint car racing fans will be witness to this summer in the Upper Midwest.
Never have race fans seen a talented group of racers like this all together for a series with the exception of the 360 Nationals in Knoxville, IA.
Here's the schedule of events:
Saturday June 16th – Crawford County Speedway – Denison, IA. $3000 to win / $300 to start.
Monday June 18th – ASCoT Tailgate Cook-Out Party - Travel Lodge (Formerly Oaks Hotel & Convention Center) - Sioux Falls, SD (North parking lot)
Sprint cars on display, meet your favorite drivers, get autograghs, purchase t-shirts etc. 4:00PM until ???
Cook-Out – Grilled ribs, brats and burgers plus cash bar. 5:30PM until ???
Groove to the live band "Pop Machine" playing outside. 7:00PM until ???
Tuesday June 19th – Intertstate Auto Centers I-90 Speedway – Hartford, SD. $3000 to win / $300 to start.
Wednesday June 20th – North Central Speedway – Brainerd, MN. $3000 to win / $300 to start.
Saturday June 23rd – Dakota State Fair Speedway – Huron, SD. $3000 to win / $300 to start.
** RACE TEAMS**
The Travel Lodge, (Oaks Hotel) is the official ASCoT hotel for this event in Sioux Falls, SD. If you need to reserve any rooms, ask for the I-90 Speedway rate, which is $57 per room. (A savings of about $30 per room) You will need to make your own reservations, however, if you do, please e-mail me so I have an idea of how many rooms will be needed. You may stay in your toter homes in the parking lot, if you wish.

I urge all race teams that are in Sioux Falls on Monday night to bring your sprint car out and put it on display for the fans. Bring your t-shirts and whatever you have to sell. We want all the sprint cars we can get to help make this as big a success as possible. We ask that you have your car set up for display no later than 4:00PM. All events will be in the North parking lot. If you plan on displaying your car, please e-mail me so I know how many cars we can expect. We will have a live remote for the 6:00PM KELO Sports and the Argus Leader will also be on hand. A great way to show off your sponsors and have a great time.
